The last singular book I read while closing it between each chapter was A Farewell To Arms over 10 years ago. I generally cross-read genres which probably makes reading multiple books easier.

I can't say reading moods are black and white, but if I'm feeling more soft or whimsical, I probably lean toward historical fiction or romance - either contemporary or classic. If I'm excited or frustrated, any genre with a strong war or battle theme is ideal. What genres do you tend to sit with the longest?
