only death truly is the door to the other side of the phenomena, but even right at the threshold we don't know what, if anything, we will encounter beyond that threshold. even our noumena are really just a type of phenomena, not of the senses, but of the mind: mental phenomena. this is noumena in the positive sense, because when we are observing our own thinking we are still doing so under the condition of time. the unknown on the other side of time, the "real" noumena, noumena in the negative sense, we cannot think at all, except as a purely negative concept signifying nothing———except its opposition to your first person lived experience in this living body here and now—in other words, death.
