We (@christineaa4 & I) had a fantastic time filming at #TheGarrison two weeks ago in Hamburg. So many great people and an absolutely incredible community to be apart of.

A few days after #TheGarrison, it’s finally time for a much-deserved and -needed appreciation post.

I want to start out by saying that it still hasn’t sunken in, how much of an incredible weekend this was. Disclaimer: I did put a lot of work into not forgetting anyone in this post. If I have, please send me a message telling me how much of an idiot I am and then I will fix it!

First, an enormous THANK YOU to the AoE community. Your support, feedback, and enthusiasm made this event unforgettable. To everyone who watched, participated, or cheered us on: you made our first AoE esports event a success - thank you ❤️

A special thanks to my girlfriend, @Neswht, who was with me every step of the way. From driving the pros, talents, and gear to being the perfect manager and my emotional anchor, you’ve been incredible. Thank you for sharing this passion and believing in our mission, even when it means less personal time for the two of us - you rock.

To the BEING ESPORTS team: @BE_Benni_ , my partner in crime from the start; @itzyourgames , who built pretty much everything around the broadcast; and @axl_hoffmann , the genius behind every design—you laid the foundation for this event.

A massive shoutout to @Shrookyy for stepping into the stage manager role last minute and making it look as if he hadn't done anything else in years.

To our volunteers and staff (@LukasMasterlt, @Squ33ky_ , @InviSan_Pubg, and many more), you took on countless tough and repetitive tasks with dedication. You’re the unsung heroes who kept everything running smoothly.

To our AoE 2 admins (Elomis, @DingoDynamite , Mr Dobbsn), your expertise in maps, qualifiers, and on-site tournaments and so many other things was invaluable. Our side events would have been an insane mess without you.

For the AoM event, Hagrit and fophuxake , it was a joy to work alongside you. Catching you washing dishes (which ABSOLUTELY was NOT your job) was one of the favorite moments of the event for me.

To @risingempires, hosting and planing the AoE 4 event together was an honor. The passion and effort you poured into this were inspiring. Special thanks to Cow for enduring extra challenges and making everything work seamlessly on-site.

To the casters and pros, thank you for bringing your energy and insights to the event. Your suggestions and passion ensured #TheGarrison was something special. Special mention to @membtv, whose honest feedback (especially for telling me how many things in our original planing sucked 😆) helped us refine so much.
