It would have been birthday 68 for @Howardjp995 today, but one way I celebrate still is remembering his good work. This is one of my favorites because, no surprise, he is in the background, just happy when good work comes together like the city's statue for @RealBillRussell .

wonderful story about the endurance of #Cohoes businesses & the strength/support of the #community during the #COVID19 pandemic. #cohoescares

Kayla Renfroe is dreaming of the day when the display case at Cake Street Sweets in upstate Cohoes is once again chock full of pastries, scones and other delectable delights — and so are her sweet-toothed customers.

Crack cocaine, a loaded handgun and drug paraphernalia were seized following a search warrant in the city of Cohoes on Friday. Great job by the Troop G State Police Violent Gang and Narcotics Enforcement Team and our federal and state partners.
The investigation is ongoing.

This is a national health concern....

[NYT Health @NYTHealth]

Worried about the spread of drug-resistant infections? With antibiotic developers going out of business and fleeing the field, the crisis will likely get worse.  https://t.co/AeIjllwsgl

Great news for NYS: @NYGovCuomo signed a bill to ban #PFAS in firefighting foam. THANK YOU to the Governor, Assem. @PhilSteck, Sen. @bradhoylman, and countless tireless environmental health advocates across the state. Together we win! #nontoxicny https://t.co/Z3Pjxe6nYp

ICYMI: #ChildSafeProductsAct featured as a bill awaiting @NYGovCuomo's signature. "“Our childrens’ health is threatened by harmful chemicals in many of the products that surround them, including cute little chairs like this one here,” @clean_bobbi said. https://t.co/sWc75yzvb6

Why is @clean_bobbi holding this chair? It's cute until you read the label: it comes with harmful unnecessary #chemicals added as flame retardants. When @NYGovCuomo signs the #ChildSafeProductsAct, kids can have their chair minus the toxics. #nontoxicny

20 days left…. #1 priority: @NYGovCuomo needs to sign the #ChildSafeProductsAct to reveal hidden harmful unnecessary #chemicals, & eliminate the worst of them in items #babies & #children use every day. #nontoxicny

What a difference a few days can make!

Photo 1 shows the view from South Rim on Fri, Nov. 30, (day after Thanksgiving) We received between 12-15 inches of snow early that morning.

Photo 2 (today Wed, Dec. 4) Trails still icy at the top, so use shoe traction & trekking poles.
