@wizzair The Italian consulate tried on my behalf. They found out why nobody could help: Wizz Air has no presence at Istanbul Airport. No desk. No duty manager. No one.

@wizzair told me in writing that feeding inadmissible passengers is the carrier's (Wizzair) responsibility.
Then told me they cannot contact their own Istanbul ground handler, and won't give me the number.
Then suggested I check my cabin baggage allowance.
