If you take a look at embattled passport maker NexG's board, especially the new directors, you'll find a Roseli Abdul Ghani.
He is a retired army man and a lawyer, but also an aspiring politician.
He ran against KJ in Rembau during GE2018, under a PKR ticket and lost.
Mr. R is not the PKR MP. They are two different people.
Or at least that was the claim in the statements by Victor Chin and Abu Hanifah.
Selamat pagi, Malaysia.
Interesting items of late on The Malaysinist, a newsletter by journalist @esshimself.
Among other stuff, there are insights on the corporate mafias and other kinds of mafias doing this and that, here and there.

Lol. @themalaysianist covered this few days back with more details.
Anyway, my take it’s bigger than that. Bigger in the plays.
The keyword is Bangladeshi guy Aminul and who he is related to.
Shared by my friend as usual.
Re: NexG tussle
The glue here is Victor Chin, who's allegedly part of the so-called "corporate mafia", which he denies.
First he teamed with Farhash, then jumped ship to Ishak Ismail's camp.
So while the Anwar chump in NexG changed face, the backer/spine remains.
"Corporate mafia" ties are igniting. Frozen accounts. Lawsuit. Boardroom tussles. Alleged weaponisation of enforcement agencies. Names (past and present) linked to PM Anwar Ibrahim.
Huge governance problem under Anwar. Or byproduct of his PM-ship?
Selamat pagi, Malaysia.
Hey, guys. Just wanted to say sorry for yesterday’s JDT financials tweet. I was wrong.
I know a good bunch of you expect better from me, and I’ll do that next time.
Have a good week ahead.
JDT denies using public/government funds. Says while audited financial accounts do list sports council, gov grants or donations, it's merely SOP where money is channeled for various purposes.
I have also deleted my original post as it doesn’t accurately represent the situation.
Who's going to tell this dude that JDT merch sales only brought in RM3.7 mil while ticketing only raked in RM4.9 mil. And "other income" RM7.4 mil?
Bet he'll just simp without checking out the audited financials. And I'm doing free work for this guy. On brand.
@esshimself So u are telling us Nike, Hublot, Toyota, Socios, MAS & global giants combined with JDT massive merch sales & stadium assets only account for 9%? This 'math' is a fairy tale. Just bcoz you tweet a percentage doesnt make it a fact. This is peak lazy journalism to fit a narrative.
