There is something seriously wrong in Europe and the media is trying to downplay it.
This is Alban Gervaise. He was the father of three young children and worked as a doctor, specialising in radiology in Marseille.
On May 10, 2022, Alban was sitting in his car outside a Catholic school, waiting to pick up his 3 and 7 year old children. He had his 20 month old daughter in the car with him.
Mohamed L (aged 23) jumped into the passenger seat and started stabbing Alban, shouting Allahu Akbar simultaneously.
Alban tried to defend himself and his daughter and jumped out of the car to draw the attacker away from the child. Mohamed L pursued him, shouting “Let me finish him, in the name of God” and stabbed him 10 times in the throat, neck and hear, so vigorously that the blade of the knife snapped.
Passersby rushed to intervene and eventually restrained the attacker.
Sadly, Alban was too seriously injured and died 16 days later, aged 40.
At the time of the attack, Mohamed L was already known to the police for trafficking narcotics. Not exactly a choir boy.
You would have believed that Mohamed L would be imprisoned for life for taking the life of a decorated military doctor in front of his 20 month old daughter.
Alas, no.
In June 2025, a court found it to be a homicide but for Mohamed L to be penally irresponsible because he was suffering from an “acute delusional episode” at the time. He was referred to a hospital for treatment instead.
And it gets worse. Much worse.
This month, just 4 years after the murder, Mohamed L’s full hospitalisation is ending and he is being transferred to a day hospital. He will go home each night and during the weekends and in due course will be completely released into the community.
As you can imagine, Alban’s wife is furious and has been begging the court to reconsider the ruling but they refuse to do so. She does not want another family to face the suffering that her family has experienced.
This man was a mathematics teacher in Nigeria.
Not a fighter. Not a criminal. Not a threat to anyone.
He was a simple man who dedicated his entire life to teaching children. Every morning he walked into a classroom carrying books, lessons, and dreams for the future of young students. He spent years helping children understand numbers, solve problems, and believe they could become something great in life.
He was the kind of teacher parents trusted with their children.
The kind of man students respected and loved.
A man whose hands were made for writing on blackboards, not for carrying weapons.
But in today’s Nigeria, even a teacher is no longer safe.
He was kidnapped alongside over 100 innocent people and fellow teachers by terrorists. Families cried and prayed, hoping they would be released alive. Children waited for their teacher to return home safely.
But evil had already made its decision.
Reports say the terrorists saw a picture of him with a Bible on his phone. A Bible… the Word of God… became enough reason for them to take his life.
And then they slaughtered him.
Not in secret.
Not away from people’s eyes.
But in front of the very children he once taught in school.
Can you imagine the terror in those children’s faces?
Can you imagine young students watching the man who taught them mathematics being butchered before their eyes?
Can you imagine the screams, the tears, the fear that will follow them for the rest of their lives?
Those children may never sleep peacefully again.
They may never forget the sound of terror.
They may never erase the image of their teacher dying helplessly before them.
What offence did this man commit?
Was teaching children now a crime?
Was carrying a Bible now worthy of death?
Why take the life of a man who spent his years building the future of children?
Why murder a teacher whose only weapon was education?
Why destroy innocent lives while the world watches in silence?
Nigeria is bleeding every single day.
Christians are being persecuted. Villages are attacked. Pregnant women are murdered. Fathers are slaughtered. Mothers are left widowed. Children are becoming orphans overnight. Churches are filled with tears instead of joy.
Yet the world stays quiet.
If this was happening somewhere else, the world would cry out.
If this happened in powerful nations, headlines would never stop speaking about it.
But when Nigerians die… when Christians are massacred… when innocent teachers are killed before children… many choose silence.
But we will not remain silent.
We will keep speaking.
We will keep crying out.
We will keep telling the stories of innocent people whose blood cries from the ground.
We will keep demanding that the world pays attention until help comes.
Because silence in the face of evil only gives darkness more power.
“Their feet rush into sin; they are swift to shed innocent blood.” — Isaiah 59:7
And the Bible also says:
“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.” — Matthew 5:4
May God comfort the children who witnessed this horror.
May God comfort the family of this teacher.
May God remember every innocent soul lost in Nigeria.
And may the world finally open its eyes before more innocent blood is spilled.
I Have Seen the Videos.
I wish I hadn't. I wish I could unsee them.
A woman. Alive, dangling from a rope. A fire kindled beneath her. Allahu Akbar.
Children — children — with blades at the throats of other children while adults scream Allahu Akbar.
Dozens of men kneeling, shackled. A crowd. A dull axe. Heads hacked off and held aloft. Cheering. Allahu Akbar.
Always inconceivable cruelty and suffering. Always blood and death. Always Allahu Akbar.
These are not rumors. These are not Western propaganda. These are videos filmed by the perpetrators themselves, shared proudly, used as recruitment material. The cruelty is not incidental. It is the message.
I have watched them because I have to. Because someone has to witness what the world's diplomats and narrative managers and Soros-funded think tanks are working overtime to explain away as a climate dispute.
And I am telling you: do not look away. Do not get comfortable. Do not let the repetition numb you into treating this as background noise. The moment you stop being horrified is the moment they win.
The people who spin this — who call these men "brothers" and "sons," who hand them weapons, who sit across negotiating tables from them, who write academic papers explaining their grievances — I have no category for that level of moral failure. There is no framework that makes it comprehensible. They have watched the same videos I have watched. They have made a different choice about what to do with what they saw.
Let me be as clear as I know how to be.
These are not misguided young men who need jobs and dialogue. These are not the products of poverty and Western imperialism who would stop if we just listened better. These are the fully manufactured product of a system specifically designed to produce them — men for whom the severed head and the cheering crowd is not the worst day of their lives. It is the best. They've followed their founder's footsteps. Made Allah happy.
You do not negotiate with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer. You do not have a dialogue with it. You do not try to understand its perspective. You do not call it your brother. You identify it, you name it exactly for what it is, and you pursue its total eradication with everything medicine has.
Because the alternative is death. Yours.
This ideology is incompatible with human civilization. It always has been. Every civilization that has ever encountered it and survived has understood that eventually. The ones that didn't understand it in time are gone.
We are not gone yet.
But we are very late.

It genuinely feels like we now live in two different countries.
In one Britain, people drag themselves to work, pay eye‑watering taxes, National Insurance, council tax, energy bills, travel costs – and still stare at their bank balance wondering how they’re going to afford new shoes for the kids.
In the other Britain, a growing army are parked on benefits with rising sickness and disability claims, pulling in combined payments that can beat a full‑time wage and then stacking extra perks, from cut‑price bills to leisure and lifestyle discounts, on top.
The same government that says it is “cash‑strapped” and “tough choices” for services somehow finds endless billions for a welfare system its own Prime Minister now calls “unsustainable, indefensible and unfair” – but the only people expected to swallow it are the workers footing the bill.
We pay. They benefit.
That’s the deal. And it is ripping any sense of basic solidarity to shreds.
Britain is a Christian country.
The Conservative Party will always celebrate our Christian heritage with deeds, not just words.
This Easter, we want to ensure local churches are properly maintained and repaired so we’re announcing a plan to restore funding for the Listed Places of Worship Grant Scheme which the government has recently placed caps on.
Churches matter. They aren’t just important places of worship, in many towns and villages they are the centre of the community and the pride of local people, often steeped in hundreds of years of history. It is critical we maintain them properly, because when they’re gone, this history and heritage could be lost forever.
@Conservatives believe we have a responsibility to protect our churches and make sure they endure for future generations. What are we for if not to conserve the very best of our country and our society for those yet to come?
Conservatives will protect our heritage and build a stronger country.
If Keir Starmer had said before the election that he would remove the winter fuel allowance from millions of pensioners, punish the disabled with welfare cuts, enforce digital ID, appoint Peter Mandelson as UK ambassador to the US, sell out fishermen to the EU, give away £millions of money to overseas net zero and farming projects while hammering UK family farmers with inheritance tax, ban coal mines and new oil and gas licenses in the North Sea yet import £40bn of oil and gas from Norway (from the m North Sea), massively increase the national debt, increase the tax burden to record levels, increase the government deficit to record levels, destroy business confidence with national insurance increases, council tax & energy price increases, raise university tuition fees, transfer sovereignty of the Chagos Islands to Mauritius and pay £35bn in the process, plaster mass-scale solar panels on thousands of acres of prime farmland despite huge local community objections, talk tough on sorting out illegal migration yet small boats crossings have reached record levels, spaff £30bn of taxpayers’ money on carbon capture machines, give £3bn a year of taxpayers’ money to Ukraine and ratchet up hawkish warmongering rhetoric and get exposed for receiving over £100,000 worth of freebies - he almost certainly wouldn’t have won. He duped the electorate. An utterly shameless display of snake oil political salesmanship. And still he lectures all of us in that gratingly sanctimonious manner of his like we are all somehow the problem here.
Five years ago today, a teacher from Batley Grammar showed a class a caricature of the Prophet Mohammed.
Within days, a hundred Islamists were protesting outside the school gates.
Outrageously, the teacher was suspended. The headteacher, Gary Kibble, apologised ‘unequivocally’. It was an astonishing act of appeasement and cowardice.
The teacher was then subjected to a campaign of abuse and intimidation, including incitement to violence against him and his family. His kids had to miss school for months. They slept on mattresses in temporary accommodation.
An independent probe later cleared him of any wrongdoing whatsoever. Another report likewise found that the school, council and police all ‘totally and utterly failed’ him.
Too late - his life was changed forever.
Have lessons been learnt from this shameful episode?
I fear exactly the same thing would happen today.
In fact ‘advice’ has recently been reissued by Labour councils including the one covering Batley, that children’s drawings in art lessons may be seen as ‘idolatrous’ under sharia law.
Teachers are even warned that dance lessons could cause parental concerns over ‘physical contact between males and females’.
Extremism is being mainstreamed. A climate of threatening and intimidatory harassment is poisoning our institutions. It's antithetical to our democratic way of life.
Most of our governing class are simply too spineless to take on Islamists.
Look at when I highlighted the chronic failure of integration in parts of Birmingham. I was denounced. And then proven right by West Midlands Police’s admission that violent Islamists living couldn’t be prevented from attacking Jewish football fans. The Police lied and blamed the visiting supporters in an effort to pretend they still had authority in the city.
And now look at the reaction of the Prime Minister and much of the media to criticisms of a segregated Iftar in Trafalgar Square. They branded critics racist too. This was despite the Prime Minister himself pulling out of an Iftar in 2021 organised by the very same man, Omar Salha, who arranged this one, apparently because of his Islamist links.
We’ve been led by weak hypocrites, who cover up, rather than confront what’s happening. The country is sliding down a dark path as a result.
But innocent men and women like the Batley teacher are the greatest victims of extremism, and too many seem intent to forget them.
We must defend them and stand up for all those who speak out.
Christian women, stop marrying Muslim men‼️
Stop it! Their aim is to convert you and your children to Islam.
Read your Bible and get to know God. Stop being deceived by the lie that “we worship the same God” no, we don’t and never will. 👎
You hardly ever see a Muslim girl marry a Christian. Those people don’t joke with their faith; no matter how much they love you, they will never leave their religion for you.
Read the Bible.
Get to know God.
Stand firm in your belief.
Build a relationship with God.
Love God.
And raise godly Children for Jesus.
This Is Not Diversity. This Is Dominance.
Hundreds of Muslims gathered in Trafalgar Square on Monday evening to pray and break their Ramadan fast. The Adhan, the call to prayer, rang out across a national memorial built to commemorate Britain's naval victory at the Battle of Trafalgar, a battle fought to preserve this nation's independence and sovereignty, in the shadow of St Martin-in-the-Fields, one of London's most historic Christian churches. The declaration that there is no god but Allah and Muhammad is his messenger echoed across one of the most symbolically loaded public spaces in the country. The Mayor of London Sadiq Khan attended. The Prime Minister Keir Starmer applauded.
Nick Timothy said what millions thought but were too polite to say. Mass ritual prayer in public places is an act of domination. The Adhan, when called in a shared civic space, is by definition a declaration of exclusive religious truth in territory that belongs to everyone. That is not Islamophobia. It is theology. Trafalgar Square was not chosen by accident. It is chosen because it is the most symbolically resonant public space in Britain, and because the statement being made is precisely about whose space it is and whose it is becoming.
Starmer's response told us everything we need to know about the quality of his argument. He did not engage with Timothy's point. He reached immediately for Tommy Robinson, invoking a convicted criminal as a moral authority to condemn a former senior adviser to a Prime Minister. He compared the Trafalgar Square prayer to Diwali, Chanukah and Easter processions, knowing the equivalence is false. Diwali, Chanukah and the Passion are celebrations. They do not involve a declaration that there is no god but the god of the celebrants. The Adhan does. And Starmer knows it.
But Trafalgar Square is only the beginning of the picture. British cathedrals have been hosting iftar. Manchester Cathedral opened its doors for Ramadan prayers. It is technically against canon law to invite members of another religion to pray in front of a cathedral altar. The canon law was not enforced. Nobody was held accountable. Next Ramadan it will happen again, in other cathedrals, with renewed rounds of polite applause from the same bishops whose predecessors built the institutions now being used for the purpose.
In our schools, children are taken to mosques as part of RE programmes while nativity plays are cancelled for fear of causing offence. In our public spaces, the Adhan rings out while churches fall silent and close for lack of congregants. In our institutions, canon law is set aside to accommodate a faith tradition that has no reciprocal arrangement. Mosques in Britain are not opened for Christian worship during Easter or Christmas. The gesture runs in one direction only. It always does.
This is the slow Islamisation of Britain. Not by conquest. Not by conspiracy. But by incremental accommodation, each step individually defensible, cumulatively transformative. The school that cancels the nativity. The cathedral that hosts iftar. The Prime Minister who demands the sacking of anyone who names what is happening. The institutions that should defend the nation's Christian heritage are the first to abandon it. And the political class that should protect the public space treats those who object as the problem.
Timothy was right. The domination of public places is straight from the Islamist playbook. He was not suggesting every Muslim at Trafalgar Square is an Islamist. He was identifying the strategy. Shared civic spaces, national symbols, ancient institutions, they are not being seized. They are being offered, one accommodation at a time, by people who have either not read the Lebanon chapter or have decided not to care how it ends.
Starmer did not call for Timothy to be sacked because he was wrong. He called for it because he was right. And that is the most telling detail of all.
Nigerians please we need justice for Elozino Joshualia Ogege. My secondary school friend. She wasn’t just a classmate, she was my friend we sat together in school. She was a decent girl. Elo was not wayward.
They killed her Nigerians. They plucked her eyes while she was alive, breast and heart before she died.
She was a brilliant student, a first-class student from 100 level to 300 level at Delta State University Delsu.
She only went to look for a house to rent Nigerians😭
She told a security man working in DELSU, Onoriode (Onos), who had access to the school environment that she was looking for a house, he then told her he would help her get accommodation. That was how he lured her. Delsu claimed they are contract staff from a security company. Guess what? This security man is an Ex-convict.
He did not act alone.
He worked with other Yahoo boys including Desmond and their gang and with the help of a security supervisor identified as Nwosisi Benedict Uche. The mastermind was a Yahoo boy who came from Ghana, and got those Yahoo boys to look for a girl for ritual for him. He had 2 houses already in Abraka. Elo was not their first victim.
They planned it.
They waited for her inside the school environment, campus 3, overpowered her by putting something on her face and took her away.
They drove her out of Abraka into a bush.
According to their own confession, Elozino was crying and begging them to let her go even after they took her eyes alive she was still begging them. 😭
But they did not stop.
They killed her and removed parts of her body for ritual purposes to use for what they call “Yahoo Plus” money rituals.
They took those parts to a native doctor identified as Ojokojo Robinson Obajero, who they believed would perform money rituals for them.
The police tracked her phone and arrested them after the family reported she was missing because they couldn't reach her.
The Delta State Police PRO, DSP Andrew Aniamaka, confirmed that the suspects confessed and that the crime started as a missing person case before turning into a murder investigation.
Even the Commissioner of Police at the time, Muhammad Mustafa, confirmed arrests and said they were ritual killers.
One of the masterminds even died while trying to escape arrest.
But since 2018… what has happened? Elon have had no justice since 2018.
The case has been in court. Adjournment after adjournment.
Delay after delay. Years have passed. No clear justice. Are they bringing the judge?
My friend left her house to look for accommodation and never came back.
She trusted the wrong person a security man inside her own school. Delsu refused to show concern for their negligence. How can you employ an Ex-convict? Why would a security company employ an Ex-convict?
Elo is gone we know but we want justice. And till today, it feels like justice is still being delayed.
Nigerians, how long will this continue? How long will young girls keep dying like this? How long will cases like this be forgotten?
Please speak up. Please don’t let this case die. Please people I'm begging y'all to help us speak. They already confessed to doing it. They should have been sentenced to death already. All the people involved.
Help us cry for justice @Hybrid_Ola

Too many are too polite to say this.
But mass ritual prayer in public places is an act of domination.
The adhan - which declares there is no god but allah and Muhammad is his messenger - is, when called in a public place, a declaration of domination.
Perform these rituals in mosques if you wish. But they are not welcome in our public places and shared institutions.
And given their explicit repudiation of Christianity they certainly do not belong in our churches and cathedrals.
I am not suggesting everybody at Trafalgar Square last night is an Islamist. But the domination of public places is straight from the Islamist playbook.
Trafalgar Square belongs to all of us. It is a national memorial to our independence and our salvation.
Last night was not like a televised football match or a St Patrick’s Day celebration.
It was an act of domination and therefore division.
It shouldn’t happen again.
It is with sorrow and concern that I learned of the recent attacks against various communities in Nigeria leading to a heavy loss of life. I express my prayerful closeness to all the victims of violence and terrorism. I likewise hope that the competent Authorities will continue to work with determination to ensure the safety and protection of the life of every citizen. #PrayTogether
If you want to see how far British public life has decayed, look at Tower Hamlets. Sabina Khan, a councillor paid by London taxpayers, is campaigning for national office in Bangladesh. Five thousand miles away. Different electorate. Different country. And yet she continues to draw a salary, hold a senior scrutiny role, and be assured by the council that she remains "committed" to her constituents. If that sentence doesn't stop you cold, nothing will.
This isn't a story about a legal loophole. It's a story about the collapse of meaning. Public office used to carry a simple duty: serve the people who elected you. Be present. Be accountable. Put their interests first. Sabina Khan has shown how empty those words have become. She can miss meetings, dial in remotely, send proxies, and still collect more than twenty thousand pounds a year while running for parliament abroad. Service has been reduced to attendance logs and reassurances drafted by officials.
The role she holds makes it worse. Scrutiny of finance and resources is not decorative. It exists to challenge spending, test decisions, and restrain executive power. It demands time, focus, and proximity. Instead, it is treated as a stipend attached to a title. The work can wait. The pay cannot. That alone tells you what local government has become.
The council's response is the real indictment. It admits the behaviour is "unacceptable" while allowing it to continue. It hides behind the claim that the law does not "automatically disqualify" her, as if legality were the same as legitimacy. This is how institutions rot: not through outright corruption, but through the steady widening gap between what is permitted and what is plainly wrong.
None of this is accidental. Tower Hamlets has spent years drifting away from normal civic standards. Power is concentrated. Opposition is weak. Scrutiny is procedural rather than real. Government envoys have been sent in because trust has collapsed. In that environment, divided loyalty doesn't shock. It fits. When politics is organised around blocs rather than shared citizenship, when accountability is managed rather than enforced, a councillor treating British office as a side role begins to look normal.
And that is the most damning point of all. This is not about one woman or one trip abroad. It is about a political culture that no longer expects loyalty, presence, or even basic attention from those it pays. We are told to accept this in the name of tolerance, to avoid asking hard questions for fear of giving offence. But a democracy that cannot ask where an office-holder's first duty lies is no democracy at all.
You cannot serve two publics at once. You cannot represent Mile End while campaigning for Sylhet. You cannot scrutinise British public money while seeking power in another state. These are not subtle moral dilemmas. They are obvious truths that our institutions have trained themselves to ignore.
Sabina Khan should resign. Not because she broke the law, but because she has shown what the law now allows. And that should worry every voter far more than any single councillor ever could.
"Public office used to carry a simple duty: serve the people who elected you. Be present. Be accountable. Put their interests first. Sabina Khan has shown how empty those words have become."
BREAKING: Over 30 people massacred in the Daji market in Nigeria's Niger state.
Gunmen on motorcycles stormed in, opened fire, torched stalls, and kidnapped innocent civilians - including women and children. Many of the victims were Christians.
Where’s the international outrage? Where’s the media coverage? Christians are under attack in Nigeria. Be their voice. Speak up. The silence is deadly.
Kemi Badenoch is right.
Children must be taught that Christmas is not merely about presents or Father Christmas, but about the birth of Christ.
This is exactly what one expects from the Leader of the Opposition. Christian values are British values.
