Today marks the European Holocaust Memorial Day for Sinti and Roma. Today we commemorate and remember the over 500,000 Sinti and Roma who were persecuted and murdered at the hands of the Nazi regime.

Unfortunately antigypsyism is still very present in the midst of our society and so we need to exercise our privilege as allies and friends to the Romani, Sinti and Traveller community and fight discrimination wherever it may appear.
