"You should no more allow sinful imaginations to accumulate in your mind and soul than you would let garbage collect in your living room." —Billy Graham
It's tempting to play it safe. To blend in. To avoid the discomfort of standing out or the cost of standing up. To let our faith become so privatized that it makes no visible impact on the world around us.
But this was never God's design for His people.
We were called to be salt and light—elements that fundamentally change whatever they touch. Salt that has lost its flavor is worthless. Light hidden under a basket serves no purpose. A faith that makes no difference in how we live, love, work, and engage our world isn't the faith Scripture describes.
God isn't searching for perfect people. He's searching for available people. Willing people. Ordinary people who will let His extraordinary power work through them to impact their families, their workplaces, their communities, and their world.
Where is God calling you to make a difference today? In your home? Your workplace? Your neighborhood? Your church?
Mediocrity was never the plan. You were made for kingdom impact.
“If you look at the world, you’ll be distressed. If you look within, you’ll be depressed. But if you look at Christ, you’ll be at rest.” –Corrie Ten Boom

God being silent doesn’t mean that He’s not there. That’s when you have to show God you’re going to trust Him even when you don’t hear Him, you’re going to keep believing even though nothing is changing.
