Here’s a story inspired by true events:

Imagine ur 11, 13, 14 year old kid got riled up after seeing his friend get shot and threw a stone at an armoured vehicle (it’s actually bulletproof).

Your stupid kid, rightfully hurt and angry as their friend was shot nearby by the military invading town. Your young and heartful kid, that in any normal society would maybe get a reprimand for putting himself in visible danger to a military of psychopaths.

Instead, Later that night a full battalion of the Israeli army is bombing your front door open, taking your kid, denying you access to speak with them, and denying your child a lawyer. Blindfold them. Deny them food. Put them in rooms of freezing temperature (trust that I know this because I’ve experienced these rooms at 20 and it was unbearable within hours) and holding them there for days.

Israel’s punishment for kids that throw stones is to shove them in military prison where they abuse them. The legal sentence is up to ten YEARS in the torture chambers (literally they use tactics that amount to war crimes).

At least 500-700 Palestinian children are kidnapped by Israel under military decree. Thousands are threatened with their lives and their family’s lives to provide information to Israeli officers who use it for intelligence.

All of this, because your kid. Your stupid, young, adolescent, hotheaded, and beautiful kid, threw a fuc*ing stone at the psychopath army that shot his friend nearby.
