you will not find in “A Complete Unknown” the sort of casual, off-the-cuff, good-natured humoring & joking around Dylan recorded in “Don’t Look Back.” there is nothing like Dylan’s lengthy evisceration of the Time magazine interviewer, which is enshrined in Dylan legend, in the movie— he is much less articulate & forthcoming, less intellectual, analytical.
but— the emotional sweep & depth of the film is remarkable; if the soul of "Hamlet" is the monologues, the soul of "A Complete Unknown" is Dylan songs with their lyrics clearly enunciated.
Today the Company will depart. Bilbo gives Frodo his sword Sting and—secretly—his magnificent Dwarvish mail-coat of pure mithril. The old hobbit sings softly.
‘I sit beside the fire and think
of how the world will be
when winter comes without a spring
that I shall ever see…’

Jericho’s 8th grade trip to Washington D.C. was a wonderful experience visiting monuments, U.S. Capitol, Holocaust Museum, African American Museum of History & Culture. A special wreath ceremony took place at Arlington Cemetery for Jericho graduate Lieutenant Matthew Lynch ‘97.
Visited US Capitol and saw Arkansas’ two new wonderful statues honoring Johnny Cash and Daisy Bates.
Bates is beside Jefferson Davis, the traitor that Mississippi still keeps there to make some sort of vulgar point.
Thank you NY State Archives Partnership Trust for a special evening honoring 1st place MS Student Researcher, Eleanor Han and the wonderful presentation by Lincoln Scholar, Harold Holzer @nysarchives@NYArchivesMag 🍎✨@esundb@JerichoMS@MsJenniferHan @JerichoUFSD
