@msmignone@JerichoMS@ELALead@esundb Thank you for welcoming us, @msmignone! We loved the period music and fantastic selection of WW2 books to peruse. The students checked out some great titles to enhance our study of Anne Frank‘s #DiaryofaYoungGirl ✏️📕
THANK YOU @msmignone & team for organizing such a meaningful #WRAD2021 event for @JerichoMS! Ss loved meeting authors, learning about the ins & outs of the publishing industry, and adding many new and exciting titles to their books-to-read lists! @PSquiccLibChic @CSiebenhuener
This is it! The final lineup for our #WorldReadAloudDay celebration @JerichoMS. In addition to the amazing authors that we are meeting, I am super excited to add @JanaeMarksBooks and @kellyyanghk to our list. They have made awesome videos for us to share with our students! ❤️.
🌳ELA 8 ss @JerichoMS used #jamboard to explore extended metaphor in “A Poison Tree” by William Blake. This is also a great way to discuss tone, mood (usually 😱), and theme. #poetry
@RebekahODell1 @mrsjjee @NYTimesLearning is a great resource for student exemplars. Lisa Son’s “Unrequited Love” from the 2018 winners list is a tried and true student favorite.
