GoldBase’s CEO & Founder is Emma Priestley.
Emma’s expertise bridges technical operations, corporate finance, and board-level strategy. Her background includes hands-on mining experience over three decades, bringing grass roots projects into production, international contracts and senior roles in equity research and corporate broking at firms including Credit Suisse First Boston, VSA and Ambrian Partners. She has also advised the World Bank in Africa and South America. She is a Chartered Mineral Surveyor and Chartered Mining Engineer, graduating from the prestigious Camborne School of Mines in the UK.
Emma was an Executive Director on the main board of Lonrho Plc, overseeing the development of a diverse multi-sector portfolio in 36 Countries in Africa, agriculture, mining, ports and infrastructure, aviation, hotels and support services.
Emma is also the CEO of GoldStone Resources, a publicly traded gold producer listed on the London Stock Exchange, an operational gold mine in Ghana, and she serves as a Non-Executive Director to CrossInvest Global Management Services Limited and Oracle Power Plc. She has extensive international experience across Africa, Indonesia, and Central America, specifically in gold mining, which is why she is the most suitable leader to run GoldBase.
Emma provides GoldBase with invaluable governance and strategic counsel, drawing on her deep experience in building and realizing value across the natural resources sector.
GoldBase has royalty rights over all in-ground gold today and in the future from Maritimes Gold's portfolio of gold mines in safe, secure Canada. Maritimes Gold is not the promoter or owner of GoldBase. GoldBase will be funding the exploration and development of Maritimes Gold’s gold mining projects in Canada.
GoldBase's CEO Emma Priestley would like to thank Lanre Oloniniyi for his time and commitment to Maritimes Gold over the past couple years. Lanre Oloniniyi has stepped down from any and all involvement in Maritimes Gold to focus on his other business interests and we wish him the best of success in all of his endeavours. Lanre Oloniniyi was never involved with GoldBase in any capacity. He was solely the CEO of Maritimes Gold but now is no longer involved with Maritimes Gold in any capacity.
