We are VBM Denver - a Jewish nonprofit organization committed to improving all lives through social action, learning, and leadership development.
Follow along here to be a part of our journey as we expand to Colorado to be a collaborative force for good in the Mile High region.
@kylekeefetv@Avalanche Sorry we didn’t get a chance to say goodbye before we had to take little man to bed - looking forward to watching you for hopefully a long run coming up the next few months 🫡
Boys won the cup my first year of life — time for them to get it done for little Jack
@SenadoraJulie ¡Muchas gracias, Senadora! La historia Chicana y judía de nuestra ciudad está tan interconectada en el Westside; I cannot wait to work together for the betterment of all our neighbors.
So excited to serve on the Social Equity and Innovation Committee to help continue forward the positive momentum of our city on equity for all peoples in our communities.
I'm excited to announce our transition committee members! I'm honored that nearly 450 members of our community have volunteered their time, energy, and expertise to help build our administration. Learn more about our team: https://t.co/sKjaNe0mnz
Great to meet @ethanbwidoff today for lunch at #Sushi Bay, 3877 Tennyson, #Denver. Really impressed by his work with @vbmdenver to pursue a more socially just world through learning and action rooted in #Jewish ethics. We enjoyed our lunch--definely will go back! #foodie#coleg

Honored to be a part of this important & timely conversation. Strategies for overcoming divisive rhetoric using constructive dialogue are vital in our current political climate. Now more than ever, we must fight back against ideas and speech designed to divide and destroy.
After another tragic series of violence in CO last week, we are reminded the importance of creating spaces to promote constructive dialogue between people of different backgrounds.
Join us for this interfaith panel on Nov. 29, featuring @MayorHancock.

Thanks very much to the IJN for this honor to their 2022 15 Under 40 list.
I often think about the future of Judaism and faith generally in our communities.
May we never forget our covenant to shine a light unto the world.

Thank you @MayorHancock and @RavShmuly for meeting today to celebrate the launch of @vbmdenver and to discuss the future of social justice action in the city of Denver.
Forward we march.
After an incredibly successful pilot year, we are here with Denver Colorado Mayor @MichaelBHancock for the official launch of @VBMTorah@vbmdenver & installation of the great, first, full-time Director or VBM Denver, @ethanbwidoff!
Recently, I delivered four unique sermons for the Jewish High Holidays.
I hope they might bring you a laugh, a tear, and hope, too. You can find transcriptions of them here: https://t.co/oxahho5jMK

Very grateful for @EvanKruegel sharing our story.
Everyday we wake up, we get to choose whether we will be extremists of hate, or extremists of love - I am proud of my community for demonstrating where they stand through tangible action.
We must keep going.
In times of tragedy, it can be difficult to find the words to say out loud.
So neighbors near Denver’s Yeshiva Toras Chaim are turning to old-fashioned pen and paper to honor 18-year-old Shmuel Silverberg, who was shot and killed in last week’s crime spree. @KDVR
For any, for all.
Our vigil service to remember our neighbors killed just down the block will be held virtually tomorrow, March 26th at 6PM MT.

Let the world feel your light and your hope.
I am excited to be presenting this interfaith program with various religious groups across CU Boulder to discuss how we can use faith and morals as unifying, not divisive, tools to guide our decisions this Nov. 3rd.
The time is now.
Today we laid to rest my sweet cousin Derek. I want to share some of our words from earlier because I believe feeling his story makes us all greater people.
It is the best way I know how to honor the most genuinely good person I’ve ever met - to live in love, just as he did.
Workouts for your soul & connections to new friends around the world. This is our path to a little stronger, more tolerant, and more empathetic world - let's get to work.

All we ask for is your effort, never a dime more.
It is with great pleasure to share that tomorrow I will begin full-time as the IACT Coordinator for Israel Engagement through the University of Colorado Boulder Hillel House.
Here’s to praying with your feet & pledging your allegiance everyday.
