@DiscussingFilm The Flash is one of the biggest superheroes of all time. People care about The Flash. Besides, look what James Gunn did with the GotG movies. No one knew who the hell the Guardians were, yet they were huge successes
Make a good movie first, THEN tie it into the universe
@CinemaBlend@ParamountPics@SonicMovie I love the Christmas Vacation reference…but I wonder if there’s another Christmas movie that could work here too, one that actually STARS Jim Carrey!
@raggedydocs If Disney Who doesn’t continue, the BBC can do a revival series as “Series 15” and bring back more episodes per series. It’ll be a Coca-Cola Classic to Disney’s “New Coke”
@choppacard I think a good bit of it is:
1. American Godzilla fans just wanting SOMETHING decent.
2. Overcompensation for how dreadful the ‘98 movie was. Like “Look at how great it could have been!”
Either way, I never watched this show until recently and it’s pretty good. Not the best.
@NebsGoodTakes Jeez. It’s giving me Justice League Dark: Apocalypse War flashbacks! At least she’s not torn in half like she was then.
I have no context, but why are we getting terrible visions of the future THIS early?
@joshnamesnotjo1 The thing is that Disney owns a platform that is viewed by millions every day and there were advertisements out the wazoo on Disney+. That’s kinda all the marketing they need.
Sonic 3 may have been advertised like that too, but Paramount Plus is…not Disney+
@jacksfilms “How Trump Stole Christmas”
No song, just photoshop Trump’s head onto Jim Carrey’s Grinch, but recolor his fur to be blonde and zoom in slowly while the sounds of blistering winds blow over Mt. Crumpit.
@jacksfilms Why does Rudolph’s nose glow?
Put the carrot back (an ode to snowman dicks)
Santa Whispers
Kevin McAllister=Psychopath
Disney+’s The Santa Clauses (sadly, it’s real)
2 Dudes Under the Mistletoe
Gambling! (why my kids don’t have presents)
Light A Fire For Santa
@JohnnySobczak It doesn’t have it in the title card, but the 1978 animated Lord of the Rings was billed as the whole thing. Then the movie ends with “so ends the FIRST great tale of the Lord of the Rings!”
People were pissed. It’s speculated the backlash is what caused the sequel to get canned
