the same happened to my friend.

My friend and I booked the same flight to Bodrum, and @TurkishAirlines bumped my friend off the flight due to “overbooking” after seeing our US passports. They insisted that my friend and I had to take separate flights.

I got on the original flight, and it was only half full.
