We wanted to find out what ALPK3 does and why it might cause disease.
We fluorescently labeled ALPK3 in human pluripotent stem cells and saw ALPK3 in the M-Band in heart cell sarcomeres (GIF), rather than the nucleus as has been suggested.
Maybe a link to sarcomeric HCM?
