The so-called "overview effect" refers to the profound experience astronauts report while looking back at the earth for the first time. Particularly the realization of the fragility of our atmosphere and the irrelevance of human national borders from a global perspective

I am curious then what Bezos' experience will be looking back at the earth for the first time. The common lessons of the overview effect which he has alluded to would suggest that he is living a flawed life and should encourage a change of lifestyle to say the least.
