@sneako Bro we're done pretending to care about people who come here illegally, under false pretenses, or just plainly reject our culture and refuse to assimilate. You've got like 15 years max until the boomers are gone until big things happen. Convert to Christ.
@orthomaton@PageauJonathan It's a veil over the eyes that prevents them from seeing, mostly due to pride. I had to fall in my knees in hopelessness of my own cunning and humility before God removed the veil for me. It's so patently obvious that Orthodoxy is the truth that I can't explain it another way
@LifeTips919@joxxol@PageauJonathan@QuakesandHail So surely you believe that those who disagree with this seemingly crucial and dogmatic sotoeriological truth are outside the church, and lack salvation right?
@giodude1984@OrthoTexan70 Ask five different catholics for their infallible list of infallible ex-cathedra statements by the pope and see what results you get.
If only there was a concilliar method of having the Holy Spirit guide the church through unanimous decrees of councils...
@noetic_healing Define all of those terms. Any given Sunday any one of us can be declared a nazi or racist for not parroting whatever slop narrative the world is pushing that day
@Orthodixie@Retradworld If that's a wall from the temple, then it's evidence that Christ's promise that "not one stone will be left on another" didn't happen. It's essentially a petty nana-nana-boo-boo from the Jews.
@tgtengage@EliAyal17454205 The more protestants do things like this, the more genuinely-seeking souls are convinced that protestantism doesn't have the answers or tools to heal them. By all means, do two of these conferences a month. Just make sure to do a few extra guitar solos for good measure
@0_commie @noetic_healing@Acts17David Just because 5 people claim they witnessed different things at a crime scene doesn't mean there are 5 different things that happened. Someone is telling the truth, and it takes an actual sincere desire to know the truth and investigate the claims of each to know it.
@lufftale@needGod_net If you appeal to scripture, that doesn't solve the problem, it just begs the question " where did the scriptures come from, and how do you know the canon is the inspired word of God?"
@lufftale@needGod_net The question is: Who do you say that Christ is? How did you arrive at this definition? How can you trust that your definition is trustworthy?
If at any point you appeal to your own interpretation, you're up against every other different interpretation with equally valid footing
