After years of campaigning, @BessemerGrange was the first school in Southwark to get a school street. 5 years later, the council want to remove the bollards. Please sign our petition to keep our school street safe. Cameras are not enough.

@RailtonLTN@GAILsBakery Apparently they don't honour the paper cards, only the loyalty points in the new app. I can't understand why they bother giving out and stamping the paper cards then.
Just stopped in @GAILsBakery to collect a free drink from my loyalty card - only to be told they won't honour it!?? Doesn't inspire loyalty #badcustomerservice
@hollynessling @sharrond62 Back away quietly Holly! Imagine wanting to access childcare, shops, cafes, doctors etc within 15 minutes of your home! Insanity, I tell you.
@RailtonLTN @RezinaChowdhury @lambeth_council While lots of trees is good, pear trees are tricky. The fallen fruit rots and cases a slip hazard. There's one on my road and it actually a bit of a pain.
@GreenPeterU@reece_dinsdale 2/2 the fact that so many women perceive and explain the risks to themselves should be enough to show that they exist. Everyone's rights, trans or not, need to be balanced.
@GreenPeterU@reece_dinsdale That may not be true though, depending on defining "being trans". If you include in that category sex offenders who try to get placed in women's prisons, or who misuse female-only spaces, then there are real risks. If those people aren't "trans" then self ID is the problem. 1/2
@bobafet123 If she and the children go skiing, then they have appropriate clothes for the weather. So they don't have that excuse. It does seem contrary.
@conspiracycab1@BobFromAccounts I think people just don't realise how efficient a cycle lane is. 750 cyclists an hour would look almost empty. The capacity is closer to 10k per hour. Around 3k per hour starts to look busy.
@bikesandbabies Twitter cabbies have pushed me to this point as well. I just wouldn't get one now, and risk getting a driver with attitudes/views they share on here.
@TomViolins Unfortunately when they last reviewed this junction and put in the left turn lane from Norwood Rd to Dulwich Rd, active travel wasn't a council priority. I've cycle commuted through that junction since 2004 and it's always been terrible. Definitely needs more attention.
