That just is not true. Please stop these ridiculous talking points. I have gone to stand with these families every single year for a decade now. My friends and neighbors are not crying for 6 hours straight. We are greeting each other, hugging each other, laughing at the memories and the jokes the families tell remembering their loved ones. Most politicians do not stay the entire time, in fact every year, at the end it is usually just me and former mayor Mike Bloomberg. This year was different @NYCMayor did. He stayed for every name and even stayed after to talk to families for 45 minutes. My friend who works for the memorial, even told me it was a new record. @AOC , for the record was there at 7:30 am and also stayed for every name and this brief moment they said was of them laughing was just when she walked up to him and said hello.

When I said hello to him with my daughter he even whispered to me after our hug “hi my friend! Hi Zoe! Sorry I didn’t see you, I’m super focused on the stage right now.” And he was. He listened to every story and every name and was there for our community of lower Manhattan. We appreciate you both.

I hope these gross talking points will end.

The world knows this unforgettable melody and sings it in numerous languages. “Shchedryk” (Carol of the Bells), inspired by a Ukrainian folk carol, became a global symbol of Christmas.
It was composed by Ukrainian Mykola Leontovych, born on this day in 1877.

Leontovych was a teacher, composer, and choir conductor who dedicated his life to recording and revitalising Ukrainian folk songs. 

His music carries a special kind of magic: no matter the language, the melody resonates with joy, hope, and the spirit of celebration. 

Leontovych was tragically killed in 1921 by Soviet secret police for defending Ukrainian culture. But his legacy lives on, and "Shchedryk" continues to unite people around the world.

This is the reply I got from @AmericanAir. Completely missed the point. Green card holders beware, if you fly American they incorrectly require an ESTA to check in with them and you are risking derailing your whole travel plans.

@AmericanAir Sent screenshots in DM! Not sure what you can do but hoping you rectify this issue so that other green card holders are not inconvenienced as well. Very hard to believe that this is not a common issue.

@AmericanAir, you need to correct the errors on your website that impose unnecessary travel requirements. Green card holders do NOT need to apply for ESTA to return to US. Terrible customer service experience.
