Looking forward to it! But not sure where you take it from that Haviv is a defender of the Israeli right. Generally, he’s arguing from a post 2nd intifada/post Oct. 7th left wing point of view, and has often been vocal in his criticism of the government as pertains to domestic politica and policies.
Even with that context Barrot’s statement is a refutation of the purported intent of the final deal planned for an UN Security Council resolution. As sold by the US that deal is to provide a regional settlement while not at all addressing Tehran’s ballistic missiles and proxies without which by Barrot’s account there won’t be stability in ME. Of course, France will base its vote in the UNSC on further considerations.
@TMTLongShort Musk differs from the others in that he brute forces his way to outlandish outcomes. “First principles” thinking enables him to aim higher than others dream. But doesn’t strike me as seeing around corners and neither as deep as Thiel.
@TheStalwart@citrini Sure, technically, but that’d miss the point of the photos which is to help evoke private memories more lively than they’d be otherwise.
So you think current msd growth for base business won’t accelerate mid term to its long term guide of msd-hsd? What’s the main drag? As for end market peers like Roche and ABT (I know) are guiding to msd-lsd. Secular drivers (demography etc) should persist and lots of innovation still to be had, no?
@TheLAPurchaser Memory chip share is 1% of COGS even for ISRG, ostensibly, per JPM. Granted, that's not entirety of semi input. Maybe hirher shares for big items like Imaging or electronic implantables.
@TheLAPurchaser Do you trust mgmt's take on diabetes slowdown fully? Apart from the international tender U.S. at +9,8% seems slow even if accounting for 1-2% in Q1 25 stocking, no?
