Tomorrow is launch day! π Feeling like a kid on Christmas Eve. Thanks to everyone whoβs followed this journey. I promise the wait will be worth it - see you at https://t.co/T7bisrqKWE! π #launch#VPN
π€ Just ran one last full-system test: all green, no errors, and CI is happy. Everything looks good on mobile too. Time for a quick celebratory stretch... and maybe some sleep π . #prelaunch
Day 12 of #buildinpublic
Pre-launch polish: fixed one last annoying bug. Deployed again, and everything looks solid. Itβs all in the details now! #QA#buildinpublic
First feedback: one tester suggests installing Adblock optionally. π‘
That's the beauty of #buildinpublic - real dev feedback shaping our features. On to scoping that!

Day 11 of #buildinpublic
π§ Beta time! Just sent out invites to the people on our waitlist. π Canβt wait to see they spin up their own VPNs. (Refreshing my inbox like a mad person...) #beta#startup
Thanks man!
Yeah, but I think that's the point of the waitlist :) I can't invite people when the platform is not ready.
Your idea is great, but to make it work, I need to build another development flow, which will be capable of accepting customers earlier.
Oh well, not on this project xD

This small modal took hours of refining. Why?
Because βjust use OpenVPNβ isnβt good enough for real users.
I tested the flow on:
- MacOS
- Windows
- Linux
If your grandma can follow this and connect, then I am doing something right. π
Open beta launches tomorrow.

Day 10 of #buildinpublic πͺ
The open beta is just one day away, and I'm ensuring that the setup is smooth for everyone. π§
Hereβs the new Connect to VPN screen:
β OpenVPN & WireGuard
β Step-by-step guides for all platforms
β Zero CLI confusion for beginners

@agentways Thanks!
I am building a VPN-as-a-service called DediPN
Where you can get your own cloud server (with static IP), running OpenVPN or WireGuard.
Great for privacy, dev work, or just having a fast and reliable VPN thatβs fully yours π

What you donβt see in that UI screenshot?
Behind the scenes:
βοΈ Queues to spin up servers
π Workers to configure VPNs
π¦ Fully reproducible infrastructure for every user
The goal:
β Simplicity on the surface
β Serious engineering underneath π§ π»

Day 9 of #buildinpublic:
Just polished up the Server Overview page! π οΈ
You can now view:
β Server status + cloud provider
β Payment history & next billing date
β Connected devices with easy config downloads
This feels real now. π

Day 8 of #buildinpublic
Spent half the day trying to make my VPN provisioning faster...
Turns out the real bottleneck was me staring at logs hoping theyβd fix themselves π
Moral of the story: optimize code, not anxiety.
