Al Buteen, Dubai
Skipped the malls. Went to #Dubai Creek, once the city’s lifeline. Traces of a port city built on labour and exchange remain, across from the old districts, before the spectacle, erasure, and an economy dependent on a disposable migrant workforce.
Thank you so much to Nyadzombe Nyampenza for this thoughtful and kind piece about my #Harare#photography that was published yesterday in NewsDay #Zimbabwe. I'm feeling the Harare love.

@manliketats169 That’s a tricky one, and not just in Africa. As humans we can do better. But all these things start with the right questions and conversations, and at least in that regard South Africa is ahead.
@vfsglobalcare After I paid online, it turned out no appointments are available prior to the expiry date of my visa, but your website is not allowing me to request a refund.
Yesterday an uber driver drove off with my backpack full of essential work equipment and up until now uber has not been able to reach him. @Uber_Support what can be done?
Another photo from the collection on my website: jacaranda season in #Harare, #Zimbabwe - the hour when you’ve either managed to get your planned errands done or you haven’t, and it’s time to temporarily forget about them and submit to the city’s vibe. #streetphotography
