IBA decided not to provide an orchestra.

Which suggests any host could offer an orchestra? 🤔

@euro_pete @JackTheFact29 If I’ve remembered rightly, back in the day, the host broadcaster suggested rule changes for implementation for the year after.

I remember Jonathan King saying the BBC was delighted to scrap the national language rule from 1999 onwards. Maybe they scrapped the orchestra too?

SVT could not be more knowledgeable or respectful of #Eurovision history, but this edition could have been anywhere.

I want #Switzerland to go BIG on scenery, history, folktales & culture. I want yodelling postcards, cuckoo clocks, singers eating fondue next to an Alpenhorn etc
