RFK Jr. EXPLODES on Dana Bash: “You are saying NONSENSE!”

Kennedy refused to let Bash move on after she declared that the “COVID vaccine worked.”

Kennedy then challenged Bash to cite a single study showing that the vaccine did more good than harm for children.

She never named one.

BASH: “I also don’t want to use this interview to allow you to say things that aren’t entirely true.”

“You’re talking about therapeutics, fine. It is also factually true that the COVID vaccine worked!”

“The COVID vaccine prevented deaths. There is data upon data upon data. Let’s talk about the measles, please…”

KENNEDY: “You think the COVID vaccine protected children?”

BASH: “I think that what I have talked to scientists and doctors about…”

KENNEDY: “You’ve talked to scientists. Can you show me one study that shows that children were protected by the COVID vaccine?”

BASH: “Yes, I can. I can tell you that there are…”

KENNEDY: “That vaccine did more good than harm to children. Can you show me ONE study that shows that?”

BASH: “I can tell you that when it comes to the vaccine, there have been studies that show that because of vaccine disinformation…there could have been 100 to 200,000 lives in the U.S. saved.”

KENNEDY: “You are saying NONSENSE!”

“You are saying something that you cannot show me a single study that says that.”

BASH: “Okay, I am not saying nonsense.”

KENNEDY: “Somebody told you…”

BASH: “Excuse me!”

KENNEDY: “Cite me the study right now. What study?!”

This is one of my favorite photos from my travels overseas. I took it in Seoul, South Korea, in October 2018.

It was a march of thousands of South Koreans carrying American flags, photos of Donald Trump, and even giant papier-mâché eagles. The celebration stretched on for at least a mile. I discovered it by surprise while walking around the city.

The U.S. media is invested in making the public think the world hates us, that we are perceived as oppressors, and that the globe is united in its anti-American sentiment.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

No matter where I went—including the depths of mainland China—I found people who loved America (and Americans) and who were thankful for what we represent as a country.

Just yesterday I’m sure you saw the massive fireworks display in Tokyo celebrating our Independence Day. And I can tell stories of people I met in Latin America, India, and elsewhere who were grateful for the USA and President Trump. These people didn’t want anything from us except that we continue embodying the principles they admired.

Of course, America is not universally loved. It’s true that liberal Europeans, many of whom have never been to America, dislike us. And many liberal Americans who (wrongly) think Europeans are more sophisticated and intelligent listen.

To those groups I say: get a passport. Travel to a developing country or three. Ride the bus. Travel light.

Then you will see that the blessings America enjoys are not how the rest of the world lives—or even can live.

The United States is a historical, economic, cultural, and political anomaly. Never before has there been a nation like us, and never again will there be one, either.

Our peace, prosperity, abundance, and security are the result of God’s providence and nothing else. Gambling on it receiving that blessing again would be beyond foolish.

Now here’s the thing: much of the world already knows this. They don’t see Americans as special. But they do see that something special has been given to us.

And that gift proves to them that a better life is possible and inspires them to try to create it for themselves, if only in some small way.

Meanwhile, foolish liberals and self-hating progressives are trying to give away what we have, as if giving men fish will feed them for more than a day. I’m in favor of charity and service to others. But we can and do serve others by inspiring and then allowing them to learn to serve themselves.

America does that by our example. People of the world see it. I know because they helped me see when I thought otherwise.

Which is why today I celebrate my nation and give thanks for it. I recognize its flaws (as every nation has) and honor its strengths. I don’t feel guilt, just gratitude and joy.

America didn’t have to exist, but it does. Hallelujah!

And this little party we’re having today? The world is celebrating with us.

Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.
