@carbonmfg@VVenerabilis@Hollin_8@mcallister_e Fools mock.
I realize you think you’re smarter than me. You probably are. I realize you think you’ve won all the arguments. That’s subjective.
The challenge is, you are out of alignment with the Brethren. Personally I don’t believe I know better than them.
@carbonmfg@VVenerabilis@Hollin_8@mcallister_e You need to read the thread properly. Sure, vote for Saint Donald, he’ll be there at the gates of heaven to greet you. Your mansion is a Trump Tower, penthouse suite.
@carbonmfg@VVenerabilis@Hollin_8@mcallister_e Pres Oaks: “We should never assert that a faithful Latter-day Saint cannot belong to a particular party or vote for a particular candidate.”
I’m following him but you do you.
Good night.
@VVenerabilis@carbonmfg@Hollin_8@mcallister_e Pres Oaks “We should never assert that a faithful Latter-day Saint cannot belong to a particular party or vote for a particular candidate.” I’m sticking with the Brethren and defending the right to vote for who they wish without being challenged on their faithfulness. You do you.
@VVenerabilis@carbonmfg@Hollin_8@mcallister_e To try and be objective and answer your question. My democrat friends abhor abortion as much as you, but for them it was not a single issue decision.
And since I’m not a US citizen I couldn’t vote. But if I could, I would have voted for Trump but with a very heavy heart.
@carbonmfg@VVenerabilis@Hollin_8@mcallister_e I’m not offended, I’m laughing as I write this. I think it’s amusing how every statement you make actually proves my point. You have started to respond like your hero, derision, mockery, sarcasm, name calling.
@VVenerabilis@carbonmfg@Hollin_8@mcallister_e No, but you asked how any faithful member could vote Democrat. I know many faithful members who voted Democrat. They abhor abortion, but it’s not a single issue for them
@VVenerabilis@carbonmfg@Hollin_8@mcallister_e Actually, you couldn’t be more wrong.
However, I do know Democrat members who are very faithful Latter-day Saints.
President Oaks said we should not do what you did, asking how a faithful member could vote for a particular party. As you said, good that we can repent
@carbonmfg@VVenerabilis@Hollin_8@mcallister_e As I said, your true colors are shining through. Can’t sustain a civil argument so resort to mockery, name calling, blah, blah, blah. You really are emulating your hero.
@VVenerabilis@carbonmfg@Hollin_8@mcallister_e Sham prosecution? Tell that to the family of the officer who died.
Said nothing of taking Greenland by force? https://t.co/VIusrQgfJW
In referring to Musk, I’m citing a government officer expressing policy. Who is leading the government.?
@VVenerabilis@carbonmfg@Hollin_8@mcallister_e You can call it goal post shifting if you wish. I actually don’t like being at odds with fellow church members so I will call it trying to find common ground.
@VVenerabilis@carbonmfg@Hollin_8@mcallister_e Take Greenland by force
Absolving Jan 6th criminals
Prostitutes, I’ll concede, I don’t know.
(His sidekick, Musk, encouraging the overthrow of the government of the US closest ally)
And to be clear, I’m absolutely, unequivocally against abortion.
@VVenerabilis@carbonmfg@Hollin_8@mcallister_e Maybe, maybe not. It does suggest that (some) Republicans believe he is Gods chosen candidate. Yes, God always uses imperfect people to accomplish His work. Nevertheless, I would like my national leaders to show some moral fiber.
@carbonmfg@VVenerabilis@Hollin_8@mcallister_e Your true colors have come out! Like your hero, anyone who disagrees with you becomes the subject of derision and name calling.
As it was, I wasn’t answering your comment.
The original comment to which I responded was a question about how a Latter-day Saint could vote dem.
