@bmay The British public put the Torries into power for 14 years (although the last 4 years are due to the Labour Party that gave us Corbyn as an alternative) and gave us BREXIT, and the Torries gave us the likes of Truss and Sunak - being true to their nature - "outlaws" and "robbers"

Today (15/5/2024), our HEALTHY SAILING partners are convening in Athens and #remotely to delve into the outcomes of our recent Internal Review meeting and put the finishing touches on our interim progress report.
@SteveMcfirerisk@Enrico_Evac@EvacuationModel HI Steve, does anyone know how to find the full report, not the HO 'summary'. As this is publicly funded work on residential building safety, I would expect to see the full report, not a filtered HO summary. Not possible to properly assess the research without the full report.
I am delighted to announce that Research England has awarded the Fire Safety Engineering Group and colleagues at the UoG just over £9 million for our research proposal, ‘Multi-Scale, Multi-disciplinary Modelling for Impact’ (M34Impact).

The evac of JAL A350 was not a miracle, but it's miraculous no one was seriously injured, especially those using exit L4. Apologies to Lt Chard from the film Zulu, “If it's a miracle, Colour Sergeant, it's a crew, passenger self-discipline, aircraft design, and lady luck miracle”
In aircraft evacuation every second counts, so the 18 minutes before the last person on board the JAL A350 at Haneda airport evacuated feels like an eternity. What can we learn? For a detailed analysis of the evacuation read my LinkedIn article.
