@CCriadoPerez I don't know about this particular case, but it's very common across Germany to be paying for public toilets for men and women. Often 50 cents that you put into the turnstiles at the entrance.
@caitlinmoran Thanks for the incandescent feedback on our service! We are offering a 24 hour vaccine-a-thon @MorrisHouseGP starting 6pm on Friday 17th Dec all the way through the night till 6pm on Saturday. If you can help us get the word out 🙏
I pine for the day when UX research is no longer sold as a way to “validate” the designs of products or services.
This thinking limits what teams deliver.
Going down this path just to get a foot in the door creates so much extra work later on to break away from it.
@mtthwwht omg yes. The worst bit: you're still stuck in your current meeting so not only can you not just get up and walk around but most likely you will miss the beginning of the next meeting...and your step goal.
I just sent my last email as User Research Lead at Citizens Advice. It's an odd feeling finishing a job while sitting at your kitchen counter. I have the deepest appreciation for my team and I'm so proud of all of them.💛
Ah yes, another tip from a man for how we should act as women so that men don't murder us. I'll add it to the list, right below "flag down bus", "don't get drunk" and "don't wear short skirts". Anything else?

Just saw a headline about hidden micro-stressors (sadly couldn't read the *paywalled* article - the irony). But I'm finally convinced that I need a pair of noise-cancelling headphones to shut out the permanent construction noise outside my window. Any recommendations?
New @CitizensAdvice blog about Financial Quicksand - the dark combination of nudge and sludge that makes online spending too easy to slip into and too difficult to get out of https://t.co/akTjzgo1vQ
Financial quicksand doesn’t appear by accident, here’s how it happens🧵(1/10)
I get that tweets about how much refugees contribute to society are well meaning but I very much feel like so what? If someone's being harmed I'm not going to ask "are you sufficiently inspirational" before trying to help, accepting refugees is just good in its own right
