Welcome to Artemis, Ireland 🇮🇪
Ireland has become the 66th nation to commit to the peaceful and safe exploration of deep space. Thanks for joining us! https://t.co/8l6GyODSRO
We're building the first satellite ever dedicated to the nation of Taiwan.
Signed last week. Launching later this year.
And needed immediately — so Taiwan's internet backbone can be resilient to terrestrial fiber cuts.
Great news-- we have acquired and established command authority over all four spacecraft.
We'll keep you all posted as these missions continue to progress.
Thanks for the ride, @SpaceX. Hell of a launch.
Our next four satellites are ready for launch.
They’re already at Cape Canaveral getting integrated onto a dedicated SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket, and we’re on track for a December 17th liftoff.
It’s time for Astranis to go from one to many satellites in orbit.
This company is so cool! I learned so much about satellites and different orbits. @Astranis makes small satellites in the high orbit (the most valuable real estate in the solar system) launched by @SpaceX rockets. These are “Made/Operated in California for California.” The “Big 4” leaders in space exploration and satellite economy are California, Florida, Texas, and Colorado. 🛰️ https://t.co/tyE4p01EZ0 @Gedmark #Space #satellites #solarsystem #Orbit
Today @Astranis is introducing a revolutionary new satellite for high orbits.
We call it Omega.
It is pound-for-pound higher performance than any satellite on orbit today. First flight unit will be completed next year, with launches starting in 2026.
Astranis will launch more satellites to GEO than the rest of the industry combined.
We’ve already announced 9 satellites for places from Mexico to the Philippines. Today we’re announcing our 10th project: a new dedicated satellite for Thaicom, a leading Asian satellite provider
Almost one year ago I made the brave and wild choice to switch industries from EdTech to SpaceTech.🛰️ This past year has been one of growth, intensity, and mostly humility. I finally got around to putting pen to paper on the experience: https://t.co/hkbB9Y2H9y
As I mentioned in the piece: "Changing industry is a perfect way to keep your neuroplasticity high and ego low." 😅 Would love to hear from others on how they navigated or continue to navigate an industry shift!
San Francisco is the cradle of innovation for world-changing tech like self-driving cars.
Yet city officials have lied about them with fabricated statistics.
Why are electeds going out of their way to stamp out tech that saves lives? We have to expose the lies and fight back.
.@Astranis is building smaller satellites for geosynchronous orbit with the goal of bringing high-speed internet to millions. With the first satellite now in space, it seems their novel approach is starting to pay off.
