Digging into the draft specification for MNX, possible successor to MusicXML. The more I read, the more I love it! Strikes a great balance between notational concerns and essential musical semantics. https://t.co/LlpOyUlMMg @MichaelDGood@adrianholovaty

If you know a better way, tell me; this is the least horrible I've found so far.
@eedeebee How can it possibly force you to do it from memory? :-) But, yes, I find those annoying too.
I've also taken to storing security questions and answers in a password manager. Maybe this defeats the purpose, but I hate security questions.
If I am to be an extremist, let me be a devotee of extreme inclusion, which leaves very little room for conventional ideologies. There is always more to the story.
I love this articulation of paradox: “A Christian is a perfectly free lord of all, subject to none. A Christian is a perfectly dutiful servant of all, subject to all.“—Martin Luther
@timbray@jtauber I took a music criticism class in grad school, and my professor claimed to have researched this thoroughly. For whatever reason (I think the main appeal was to longstanding uniform convention), Jesus’ name was the one exception. *shrug*
@RandySVoges Honestly, I’m still getting to know him. I gave my life to Christ at an early age. I want to submit to his gentle and humble heart. For me right now that means taking a break from social media. Blessings to you, Randy. I honor your faith and your love.
@RandySVoges@klhull143@CarolHoward@Oikoumene And maybe we should leave these poor people alone if we change the subject. I’m not too knowledgeable of Twitter conversation etiquette...
@RandySVoges@klhull143@CarolHoward@Oikoumene Thank you for raising the question. I find that I get sucked into exchanges like this. Maybe more interesting if we tried to find common ground? I’m guessing you love Jesus? I’d like to hear about that (if you want).
