Hi @brandur! I really appreciated your recent thoughts on sqlc (https://t.co/xDhMmIwGFO), and I'm a big fan of your writing in general. Just curious if you have a preferred approach for thinking about db migrations in go that are similarly simple? Hope you are doing well!
I am so excited to be heading to Colorado to keynote this conference!! “Coping with Other People’s Code” is a new talk I’ve workshopped in Seattle (thank you @xcoders) and can’t wait to present to a bevy of C++ engineers

My son lost his first tooth today and I’m so proud of him. I’ve also been watching a few too many episodes of #OnePiece and now all I can think is “What kind of tooth fairy are you??” The stretchy kind.
@ramit I’ve always thought of the home purchase as partially for the “rent control” protection. Do you find over a 10 year period the rents raise enough to change the calculation?
@ESYudkowsky I’m always in for a good fantasy story! Perhaps they meet three AGIs at a fork in the road? One that always tell the truth, one that always hallucinates, and one that always makes paperclips :)
@koujaku Very cool. In my own work with visual programming in games I found people loved a big canvas like that, but my regret was not making layout automatic. All the manual placement led to most people not doing it!
I've been heads down working on live editing for my storytech startup and just found out about @MatthewWeidner3 and his research that improves on collaborative ordering. Props to you Matt! Creating a lexicographic ordering for your Fugue trees was a really good idea :)
