@SportsWithJaKob@big_business_ Lol Jaylen has 3 years left. Giannis with the extension would been a 3 year max and PG has this year and a player option for next year. If they wanted to trade JB, no problem just say that. He's hiding behind economics when if we would've gotten his way, be in the same spot.
@JeremiahGeiger2@FishOnFirst Then give the guy an additional day of rest if necessary. All star break is coming up, absolutely sucks to take away this opportunity from him.
@Jree503@RTNBA@ByJayKing and that's fair by Portland to say we are good. Both can't be true because if the Celtics took back Grant and 1FRP, he would be in Portland.
@GawdofFrames I agree in theory. But this isnt just an educational session, they are looking for ideas to put into the marketplace. But the best talent typically consolidates to bigger markets. I think it would be more wise for them to target design schools and universities.
@SamQuinnCBS This is a great response however we have to listen to months of "the roster needs upgrades" or "the young guys aren't ready to win" only for them to do this. They selling lies to lock in season ticket holders and then don't follow through.
@Abe_OGBullsFan Jalen Duren wants a max contract. Thats what it's going to take to get in the room with him at the start of FA. The FO would've had to give a Poison Pill contract. Seeing how Detroit has moved, The Bulls would be stuck with a 22 y/o center who doesn't rebound/ is a bad defender.
@Abe_OGBullsFan Why would the Bulls max out Jalen Duren? So Detroit matches or even worse, they don't match and now we have a $40M AAV center? They got Claxton for no assets. That's good business. If they still want Duren, they can offer him $28-$30M with less years and he would take it.
@JonesOnTheNBA That's kind of nasty for both sides. I don't think LeBron or his media cronies would be comfortable having to big up Jalen Brunson and LeBron tying Jordan. We have seen the end result of this with Steph and KD. That said, Bron on the Knicks would be insane.
