@tarhealer I had 6 wks unpaid leave from my job. I didn’t qualify for temporary food/rent assistance because technically I wasn’t unemployed. I was 20, in college, hourly worker w/ no savings + had to survive w/a newborn for 1+ mo. w/out a paycheck. Inhumane doesn’t even begin to describe.
