While every other freshman in the country won't take the SAT till junior year...
I have 7 weeks to improve my SAT score by 200 points.
@alphaschool started out the school year by having us
- Set a customized plan to majorly improve our SAT scores as freshmen
- Build a tool for a non profit of our choice that helps them in their day to day lives
- Train our own GPT that helps us structure ambitious goals
Lets hope I survive the school year
@Alphaschool's incoming freshman score better than the average senior.
Today I took my first ever practice SAT today and I'm already in the high performers.
Next step is to increase my score by 100 points in 7 weeks.
With a catch...
-No teachers
-No textbook
-In only 3 hours a day!
All I get is my computer and 7 weeks
Wish me luck!
I go to a school without rules.
Well, not really...
@Alphaschool students decided that they were going to change the school handbook.
Which lead us to reading a book that would set the framework for our new rules.
I read "The Courage to be Disliked" where I learned that:
-Whether people like you is their business, not yours
-Your past doesn't decide your future
-You can't be free and be liked by everyone
Over 4.5 billion adults should be taking my high school workshop.
Today, @alphaschool we used radical candor to learn how to give direct and kind feedback.
The balance between being caring and being honest are very important, but if you can balance those, you will always be able to give valuable feedback.
I built a Claude Project that tells me when I’m thinking too small.
Setting ambitious goals can be so challenging so I got AI to help.
My Claude Project:
-Tells me if my goal is ambitious or not
-Is tailored to my goal setting style
I don’t want AI to lower my effort required. I want it to raise the bar.
I started high school less than a week ago and I already have to get a 5 on an AP in 5 days.
Without anything provided. No textbook. No teacher.
5 days. Let’s see how fast I can learn how to learn @Alphaschool
Today, I found out I’m in the 85th percentile of HBS students at 14 y/o.
@Alphaschool students passed the Harvard Business School Mount Everest challenge.
-Harvard Business Students usually get 50% score
-We got 85% as high schoolers
High schoolers 85% > Harvard 55% Your move HBS.
@mstreetsoftball@gehrig38 Trying to get the pitch to spins correctly is very challenging. Make sure when your pitching that the ball or your arm isn't brushing your legs. Also, make sure that only your fingers are touching the ball because if your thumb or palm do the ball won't spin correctly. Good luck!
@ninjhaTurtle1 Finding out what to post can be very challenging. I think the best way is to find your niche so you don't get caught up in everyone else's posts. This will make you able to connect with the right people! Good luck!
Growing on X can be very challenging. My biggest tip is to find your niche and post about that so you don't get lost in the algorithm. Also, posting frequently will help you grow. Finally, engaging with followers, for example commenting on posts will increase engagement! Good luck!
@GreenfieldMax18 Coaching softball is so fun! As a player, I know that drills are always fun and useful especially for mastering the basics. It is always fun to end the practice with a game like who can hit it the furthest or something like that! I hope you have fun and it goes well!
@mayorxbt Public speaking can be very hard. Building an app is an incredible idea. That can help you build a great foundation. After you feel more confident, start speaking to friends and family to get confident. Finally, to everyone! Good luck.
