Happily married to the love of my life, thrilled to be a father. Let God Prevail. Aspiring Attorney. SUU '19, Mizzou Law '23. Views are entirely my own.
Just wanted to share with you friends tonight that this morning at 6:05am, Jess gave birth to a beautiful baby boy, Jansen Val Miller. 7 lbs, 2.5oz, 20 inches.
We feel humble and grateful for the little piece of heaven in our lives.
@Spencer4true@MinidokaJeff@stevenmackeyman To some extent, sure. But feelings also arise from external stimuli. And those events are what caused me to believe in God. For me, living in Siberia, largely alone, for two years taught me the reality of God. Subsequent experiences powerfully reinforced that belief.
@Prismabird@YouDrivePoorly @edburmila In some contexts, perhaps, but farming would be a large exception. The amount of people required to grow food has decreased drastically due to more accessible technology (steel plow, harvesters, etc). I would guess not being forced to farm to live is probably a benefit to many.
@Master_Commando Growing up in the middle of nowhere, I loved wandering around in the desert by myself. But that is probably boring to a lot of people. I think its an opinion thing and we probably ought not to take offense that other people have different opinions about the things I like
And again this year, here is A Lawyer's 12 Days of Christmas by Artlady, for you to enjoy. I forgot about it until I stumbled across the photo again. And again I apologize for not giving you more billable hours๐ . #lawtwitter#apellatetwitter
@TeamBegan@realgreggd I would guess that there is some type of clause that gives wide discretion to the Nets to take disciplinary action for choices they deem harmful to the franchise. But it probably depends on the player and his agent. That's just me guessing, never seen an NBA contract
@TeamBegan@realgreggd Free speech and the first amendment only regulate govt actions. The Nets are not the govt so the nets may take action against Kyrie based on his speech.
Watching Jansen go from not wanting to wear his costume to running up to doors with his little bag of candy was one of the best moments of my life as a dad.
