I am a conservative woman in a world that is constantly telling me to be liberal for the sake of “woman’s rights”. In fact, statements like yours reflect widespread LIBERAL judgement.

@SahilBloom Yes! I hadn't finished the thread yet (I'm a little slow, it was my first one 😄), but the commentary concluded with a charge for parents to make sure they are accounting for the time invested in their family because there is a temptation to undervalue and ultimately burnout.

IMO omitting spent time entirely is a lingering outcome of hustle culture will only lead to burnout.

I found it tempting to think about spent time as negative and invested time as positive. However, both are important and necessary aspects of life because spent time is necessary for recharging and unwinding.

Kind of wondering if this push to “act your wage” is just creating a more complacent population. I’m a big believe in balance, and never loved total “hustle” culture, but there is still value in drive to push/test our limits.
