@UberEats My experience with Uber Eats customer support today was completely unacceptable. I dealt with Uzma first, followed by Meghana twice, and somehow each interaction made an already simple order issue more frustrating than it needed to be.
I provided clear photographic evidence that my order from Sonic was incorrect, yet instead of receiving helpful customer service, I repeatedly had to explain myself and practically convince support that there was actually something wrong with my order. When a customer provides clear evidence, they should not have to fight with multiple agents just to have the issue taken seriously.
What bothered me just as much was the way the conversations were handled. The interactions with Uzma and Meghana did not come across as helpful, friendly, or genuinely interested in resolving my problem. It felt like I was being pushed through the system rather than treated like a paying customer with a legitimate issue.
Three interactions—Uzma once and Meghana twice—and I still had to keep advocating for myself over a mistake I did not make. That is not customer service. That’s making the customer do the work that support is supposed to be doing.
I use Uber Eats regularly, but this experience has genuinely made me question why I should continue choosing Uber Eats over competitors like DoorDash. Mistakes with orders happen; that’s understandable. What matters is how a company responds when they happen, and Uber Eats support failed badly in that regard today.
I have screenshots of these conversations, and they speak for themselves. Uber should seriously review how these interactions were handled and whether this is the standard of service they want representing their company. Customers shouldn’t have to argue, repeat themselves, and jump through hoops after already providing evidence just to get a legitimate problem addressed.
Uber Eats, you need to do better.
