Genetically engineered yeast programmed with a chicken gene sequence to pump out ovalbumin in giant fermentation tanks.

FDA gave it a “no questions” letter — GRAS approval. Still an egg allergen. It’s already in baked goods, protein bars, pasta, sauces, and dressings.

Labels may say “egg white protein (from fermentation)” or “animal-free egg white protein.”

It is still an egg allergen. People with egg allergies will react. Vegans who think “animal-free” means safe will get a surprise.

This is not an egg. It’s a recombinant protein made by GM microbes, scaled with pharma fermentation partners, and quietly inserted into the food supply.

Read every label. Real eggs come from chickens. This comes from a tank.
