@RBiakpara I honestly believe if Chioma was not Igbo, the reaction from Erisco would've been different. I doubt that his response wve bsame were she Yoruba or Fulani. There's a sense in which he believed that he could oppress her cos she's Igbo and people won't rise in her defenc

@maxvayshia This is what you get when you allow the 'wrong' people to determine the bride price, in the name of Umunna and Umunne. PS: This may also include the parents, sadly.
I was on call in a private hospital when one of my nurses developed abdominal pains.
I ran around despite resistance from the hospital's admin to ensure she got an Ultrasound (they wanted her to pay first!).
Results showed Acute Appendicitis. This private hospital refused to book her in for urgent surgery until she made a deposit of 750K (Ps-She works here and her salary is less than 180K).
We mobilized her and sent her with another nurse to a government hospital. She went to 4 different government hospitals and 'No bed space' was all they said and turned them back (not even minding she was a nurse!).
I had to ask them to bring her back to the private hospital where she finally had the surgery after myself and 3 other nurses including the patient signed to have deductions from our salaries till the debt was paid.
She had a ruptured appendix when we finally went in which changed the surgery from a simple appendectomy to an Ex-Lap. 750k became 1.6M and we had to pay it for 5 months till it was completed. She is fine now but just putting this out here.
The question needs to be asked: What is the effect of the Dangote Refinery on the FX supply and stability via-a-vis the period before its completion? How much of FX demand was driven by refined petroleum importation prior to Dangote?

“Chris Ngige was the only governor in the history of Nigeria to have been kidn@pped. But immediately Peter Obi assumed office as governor, things started changing. Every day, we military personnel were on the move, working to tackle insecurity. I served under retired Major General Enenche. If Peter Obi becomes President of Nigeria, insecurity in the country will become a thing of the past. I’m speaking from experience.”

@ARISEtv@themanCJAY@nicoleabebe Does she call her older employees by their names? Does she use sir/ ma in addressing her older employees? Will she accept her older staff addressing her by her first name? If not, then the issue is may not the age factor but class factor.
This is a great initiative and also considering the integrity of the person involved, All persons who believe in the Ok ticket , this will be great to get involved in
