FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 53 YEARS, THE KNICKS ARE NBA CHAMPIONS ๐
New York defeats San Antonio 4-1 in the NBA Finals, capturing their third championship in franchise history!
Big 12 Commissioner Brett Yormark to ESPN on Brendan Sorsby ruling:
โThe ramifications of todayโs ruling are significant and could have broad impacts across college athletics, creating great concern amongst our membership. Iโve been consulting with our key stakeholders and have scheduled meetings with our Conference ADs and Executive Board this week. We are also in touch with Charlie Baker and anticipate the NCAA to appeal the order in the next 24-48 hours. We will continue to monitor and evaluate the situation.โ
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander this season:
31.1 PPG in the regular season
24.3 PPG in the Conference Finals
The biggest scoring falloff by an MVP guard from the regular season to the Conference Finals EVER.
@HiddenintheP@BiggBlueJuice This is the last thing ill say to try and educate you. I never stated they care about us, of course they dont. But democrat POLICIES benefit the average America far more than republican policies. Support the policies not the people.
@HiddenintheP@BiggBlueJuice My god yall are so stupid. There's definitely a better side. Sure democrats arent perfect, nor does being a democrat make you a good person, but to say they are the same just shows how uneducated you are.
@EverythingRebs Yall are stuck in the past. This use to be true, but its more than politics now. People are losing their rights. Yeah you can have whatever opinion you want, but there is right and wrong. Supporting a racist pedophile is never okay. Not sure how thats so hard to understand.
@TheJosephBarnes@donovanreyno1ds@lt4kicks This is the dumbest argument every time I hear it. Its not an honor to introduce a terrible man who is evil, corrupt, and likely a pedophile. Doesn't matter what his title is.
@the25th_Baam_@1NCRDB1 Not if one side is full of racist pedophiles who are destroying the country on multiple fronts. You can have different political opinions, but there is also right and wrong. And MAGA is the worst thing that has ever happened to this country. Thats a fact.
Ty Simpson should be a first round pick. In fact, he should be the first QB off the board. Personally I'd take him anywhere from 10-32, because no QBs in this draft are worth a top 10 pick.
The Dexter Lawrence trade and contract are the best moves the Bengals have made in recent memory. Dexter is a top 5 run defender on a team that was last in IDL run defense. What more could you want?

some thoughts on Lawrence to Cincy...
<buckle up>
Dexter Lawrence is a 28-year old stud
he spent most of his career playing vs elite interior OLs of the Eagles & Cowboys
he's been double-teamed at the highest rate in the NFL
he's now playing in the AFC North
Ravens lost their C
Steelers might start a 42-yr old QB
Browns have Deshaun or Shedeur
Lawrence should FEAST
the Giants were TERRIBLE when he wasn't on the field
last year, even in a "down" year for Lawrence:
Giants defense with...
Dexter Lawrence OFF the field:
#32 YPA (8.4)
#31 sack rate (4.1%)
#27 EPA/pass (+0.13)
#26 pass success (47%)
#23 pressure rate (32%)
Dexter Lawrence ON the field:
#7 pass success (40%)
#8 YPA (6.6)
#9 sack rate (7.7%)
#10 EPA/pass (+0.09)
#22 pressure rate (33%)
that was a "down" year for Dexter
the team was top-10 vs the pass when he was out there
bottom-10 when he wasn't
want a larger sample?
last 3 years:
Dexter Lawrence OFF the field:
#32 YPA (7.7)
#31 pressure rate (29%)
#31 pass success (48%)
#30 EPA/pass (+0.14)
#30 sack rate (5.5%)
Dexter Lawrence ON the field:
#8 pass success (42%)
#8 sack rate (7.4%)
#10 EPA/pass (+0.02)
#13 YPA (7.0)
#15 pressure rate (36%)
and again, the context is VITAL:
he was obviously the #1 best player on the Giants defense
every team knew it
they double teamed him at the #1 highest rate and he STILL made this big of a difference
and that was despite playing some of the NFL's top offensive lines in the NFC East as it relates tot he Eagles and Cowboys for YEARS
oh, and then there's this pretty ridiculous nugget:
Most losses when scoring 30+ points over the last 2 seasons...
1. Bengals - 7*
2. Buccaneers - 3
2. Colts - 3
3. Ravens - 2
3. Lions - 2
3. Giants - 2
10 teams have no such losses over that span.
*Most by any team over 2-season span all-time.
