His name is Fredrick Lorent Obuya, 29 years old, a lawyer by profession.

He also runs a tour company.

He has reportedly been arrested in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania and his last known location was Oyster Bay Police Station on 31st October 2025 and now his whereabouts are unknown.

As we continue to follow up on the Tanzania post election violence, @VOCALAfrica_ has received the case of a Kenyan - Fredrick Lorent Obuya - who was arrested in Dar es Salaam on 31st October 2025.

29 years old Fredrick is a lawyer and runs a tour company. According to his friends, he was on his way to Zanzibar on a work related trip when he was arrested. His last known location was Oyster Bay Police Station.
