From Ghana’s point of view, they were very realistic to themselves today.
Carlos Queiroz is a seasoned coach and he won’t lie to himself.
He knows he can’t match England band for band, so he went for a more pragmatic style, let’s set a low block and counter.
Tuchel was also expecting that because he said it in his pre-match.
Inaki, Semenyo, and Ayew just had to be hard working. They worked their asses off. I mean, Semenyo was still running in the last minutes. I was worried the subs would lose that hard work but they knew their assignment. Fatawu and Prince Adu worked so hard.
Oh my guy SIBO, the commentary also mentioned that the name means WARRIOR, bro fought till the end, my guy Caleb Yirekyi was busy meeting Declan Rice know who is the boss😅, there was a time he collided with Dec and Dec was rolling on the floor, Sibo and Caleb were very physical, kudos to them.
Opoku dropped a 10/10 masterclass. He wasn’t only defending, have you seen his diagonal passes?
Partey glued the midfield with his calmness.
Asare turned up when necessary, especially that last minute punch for the corner, it was bold to come out,
Ghana might not win the World Cup, but they’ve sent out a message, THEY ARE DIFFICULT TO BEAT.
As we rally behind the Black Stars tonight, let’s do so passionately but moderately.
For those with anxiety and severe panic disorders, be taking light breaks.
Especially when the game becomes emotionally intense, enter the kitchen and drink water or call a friend and laugh over the phone. Be on the look out for those who may appear vulnerable.
Cheer responsibly, manage your emotions.
Remember win or lose, it is JUST football. JUST a game.
Go Ghana 🇬🇭
I hosted my very first international cooking class and I’m so proud of myself!
I quickly noticed how different some ingredients taste here, the type of electric stoves used, and even the pots and cooking methods people are familiar with. It gave me a deeper understanding of how important it is to adapt, connect, and teach in a way that feels natural to the environment and culture you’re in. It was perfect!!
You cannot:
Work full time, raise children, keep a spotless home, show up fully in your marriage, maintain friendships, stay fit, build wealth, read books, pursue hobbies, serve only home cooked meals, answer every email, and still make the 3:30 school pickup.
That standard was created to keep you exhausted and blaming yourself. Let it go.
@gdfishyyy @GracyOlohitare Thank you! I was so captivated by that intro by GYJ in the 1st episode that I was sad they changed her to a completely new person. The fight scene was everything and set precedence for what to expect from the character. Her intense face in S1 ep1 to that soft face in S2. ❤️
There are Ghanaian engineers at NASA.
Ghanaian surgeons running hospital departments in London.
Ghanaian economists at the IMF and World Bank, some of them administering the very programs that have failed their home country.
Ghanaian mathematicians. Ghanaian architects. Ghanaian writers who have won international literary prizes.
Ghanaian tech entrepreneurs building companies that work.
When given access to resources, institutions, and an enabling environment, Ghanaians perform at the highest levels of every field.
This is not an argument that individual talent solves structural problems.
It is a refutation of the claim that the problem is the people.
The problem is never the people.
The people are everywhere.
The talent is everywhere.
The ambition is everywhere.
The capacity is everywhere.
What is not everywhere is the policy space, the institutional support, the geopolitical backing, the market access, and the freedom from externally imposed economic programs that systematically prevent the conversion of human capacity into collective industrial development.
The difference between a Ghanaian running a department at a London hospital and Ghana having a functioning public health system is not the Ghanaian.
It is everything around the Ghanaian.
@JeffBishop147@efuamiles1 You seem dumber. Hope you enjoyed the security in the country. And oh btw they’re over 2 million Nigerians in Ghana. Not to talk of those who come to our universities.
🔥🚨BREAKING: El Salvador President Nayib Bukele just uploaded this footage showing the world just how dramatic El Salvador’s transformation has been since he became president.
@ericboatenggh I always thought this was a stretch until my boss told me he knew someone from Uganda and do I also know him? I was so shocked. So it was true. They usually think like this. I should’ve probably als asked him whether he knew Joseph from Italy 😏
