Tidy up hacks for EYFS. I feel like I'm just repeating and modelling constantly and they are just messy pups!! I put a tidy song on and a timer.. Any other suggestions? #edutwitter#EYFS
#edutwitter - lets share a picture of a display you are most proud of. By my reckoning if only 1% of my followers engage with this there will still be over 200 displays to magpie from!

@_MissieBee Read Haylock's Mathematics Explained, read the spines, listen to the Thinking Deeply about Primary Education podcast e.g. number lines and subitising, Neil did some great blogs on Third Space https://t.co/Mkw6VQviiZ and I'll send them a copy of my book if you DM the address x
After 5 weeks of pgce placement I am even more overwhelmed with how teachers plan their lessons. There is so much Welsh documentation and schools develop plans so differently, I don't know where to look! Will it ever make sense? ๐ข #teachertwitter#edutwitter
Got slightly over excited about our classroom Welsh refresher course this week ๐คฃ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ท๓ ฌ๓ ณ๓ ฟ Iโve made these Welsh flags to remind me use the language in the classroom!! ๐๐๐ผ #edutwitter#eytagteam#eytwittertagteam
Ways to be me/Can you see me? These two books are just so wonderful for Autism representation! We follow the story of Tally as she comes to terms with her recent diagnosis. I really loved these two books and think they are so so important.
I made these self assessment cards to use in my maths lessons as a way of gauging the children understanding of the lesson. They colour in the smiley face based on if they understood the lesson or not! Of course I had to use my new laminator to show the children an example๐ฉ๐ฝโ๐ซ
Family photo! (Thereโs always some miserable ones) Meet year 2โs fruit friends! We are trying to look after our glue sticks better so some friends have come to help. I have thoroughly enjoyed hearing my class say things like โQuick, give Mr Grumpy Pear his head back!โ ๐๐๐๐๐
If you have ever used The Bear and the Piano as a stimulus for writing, what outcomes did you have? Doesn't matter what year group, looking for ideas for the whole school ๐ฅฐ Even if you haven't used and can think of some great outcomes, please share! #TheBearAndThePiano
*Daily Tip*
Be kind to yourself when planning. Don't plan heavy marking sessions on the same day. If you know a lesson will take a lot of prep, try to ensure others around it are quick and easy to resource. Managing workload is so important, do what you can to help yourself.
Noisy class advice? I have 35 children, they get on with their work but the noise level is so bad! We are joined to y6 by a bifolding door & I feel like Iโm always apologising for the noise. Currently use a โraffle ticketโ reward but it doesnโt always work #edutwitter@MrTs_NQTs
@annagrangetown@APLPteach@Athrofa@UWTSD Hello everyone, we have a Facebook group so as everyone on the PGCE this year can meet. If you haven't already, join the group ๐
