@TheLucyShow1 @FLCons If it’s an auto and the engine isnt running then there is no fluid being pumped thru the trans. Manual trans will still pump fluid whether engine is running or not. We dont know he may have pulled the driveshaft and both cv axles if he did then everything is A OK.

If the car has a manual transmission then it’s fine there’s no damage taking place. If it’s an automatic transmission and he did not pull the driveshaft then yeah transmission absolutely cooked.
