@DCComicsGeeks @SuperheroPOLL@MarvelCGeeks Heroes work within the systems and structures of society to create their idea of a better future and people die waiting for it to happen
Villains break the systems and structures of society to create their idea of a better future and people die while its happening
@Yarlfrostfist@Ganglosaxonnne 2nd Battle of Misery. Assuming Theodore survived the loss of Luthien and escaped, he should have left a challenge for the Clans to fight him there the weather and terrain would help even the odds and it would pull them from Dieron. Also invasion by Drac March forces unavoidable
@TheMechFrog No cannon Plasma Rifle variant and a production center in the former now again part of the Capellan Confederation St. Ives so hmm... what will the MF variant carry? Hopefully, AMS- I like AMS on 40-45 tonners. Small or medium pulse laser for use against lights and battlearmor?
@LadybugAbridge 1. Don't cede both place and time of the battle(s) to your enemy
2. Don't fight amongst yourselves before fighting a common enemy
3. Don't underestimate your enemy especially when they use a different organization structure than you or your usual enemy
The Wolves still won
@BasedBattletech I was listening to On The Origins of Battlemechs and they talked about the Sentinel variant with a gauss rifle and 1st thought if this why Hollander???
Sure its a royal variant but given the choice...
@BasedBattletech The rarely seen Jenner T-RX. Mechwarriors who pilot the T-RX model need to remember the legs are for running, the missiles are for hunting, and the hands (like its namesake dino) are for loving-massaging the knots out other mechs myomer bundles and sore actuators.
@TheMechFrog This is why we need rival AIs and random battle dome match-ups, use the wrong one and your paper/grade gets burned.
Use no AI and to mix metaphors you defeat the Kobayashi Maru.
@RadarFennec@TheMechFrog In college on the essay day or the professors 2 day tests he would bring in yellow legal pads and give everyone sheets to write on then when we needed more,he said if you don't need more you didn't write enough, we would have to get up and ripe off sheets. This the early 2000s.
@TheMechFrog Pope Ranae in Machina I, but not the last.
Apparently your supposed to pick a name of personal importance and/or will reflect your time as Pope so maybe Pope Hazen I or Pope Pryde I.
@TheMechFrog I like the idea of a battle armor delivery and support mech and am curious to see what mechs take on or built for that role as battle armor develops and expands its place on the battlefield in the ilClan era.
Hopefully none are named The Amazon or Sears. Now the Roebuck hmm...
@BasedBattletech Smart enough to recognize Wolf's Dragoons make better allies than enemies and not mistreat ( I mean not worse than the accepted standards of the time) them, twice.
They should get some credit for that.
@TheMechFrog If I am the Centurion's pilot my move is every time The Enforcer jumps fire a flight of LRMs at it no matter the range. Follow up missiles when it lands if the range is good or the landing looks bad. Just create that hesitation and use those moments to maneuver and close.
@TheMechFrog When are we getting The Strawberry Shortcake-Battletech crossover: "The Battered Battalion" and which mech will smell like banana bread?
Not even a question its The Awesome because obviously.
