orville talking to the board: im so sorry for her behavior. i know you all have your concerns but i assure you she is suited for the job. i have no idea where this came from. ill talk to her.
olivia in her room with gwens intestines:
these official arts have irreparably changed my psyche. the way Gwen’s limp and looking away in both, hands restrained in both. We all must get more RGU about KoG and Frankie’s Utena-Miki tethers in trying to help Gwen by participating in the system that oppresses her.
KoG is so good because olivia goes from a child who matured too early because of trauma to an adult who age regresses and experiences emotional dysregulation now that her father is gone and she's clinging to gwen as a lifeline and an enactor of every position in her life
thinking about how olivia's favored place to handle and touch gwen is her insides. your family is so broken that you crave codependency and intimacy but you've only ever understood it through violence. you want to be inside of her, become one, return to the womb again...
thinking about the almost apathetic expressions gwen and olivia wear even when interacting with each other like they are both so hollow and numb and trapped in this dysfunctional cycle (or well, olivia is keeping gwen caged). +
...........do you guys think gwen's voice is modeled after a specific person? did someone use to record her lines? I'm actually so curious about this whether it could come up in the show itself
