@BlueSkyCBC I think that circumcision is a barbaric practice that has no place in modern society, regardless of any statistics indicating that heterosexual cis-women strongly prefer circumcised partners. I think these preferences, no matter how strong, are culturally influenced.
@CBCSaskatoon Why use a stock image of thin conventionally “attractive” people, instead of a picture of the subject of the actual article? Big is beautiful! #fatshaming#misleadingthumbnail
@LeishaCBC loved the story about the word a day calendar! Where can I buy one? It would help a lot, because my son Miles lives with his mother and her newest boyfriend, who is fluent in Cree. It might help me relate better to his step-co-parent, which is good for Miles.
@CTVMorningStoon @cityofsaskatoon Not remotely. The narrow margin of Clark’s election was hardly a mandate. So to bend the city to his view of virtue (while punishing the already marginalized poor with what is essentially a sin tax) so that he can achieve his lofty waste goals is pure egotistical folly.
@LeishaCBC People are calling this a “progressive” move, but it really isn’t. Not while it punishes underprivileged families the most severely. People in our city have enough trouble finding suitable affordable housing. Their trash shouldn’t be looked at as a predatory profit centre. #shame
I know a lot of legislators around the world, and not many of them would get arrested to make a deep moral point. @ElizabethMay is a good egg #StopKM https://t.co/DQW2r46Lrc
I had hoped that Trent would lead in this metric of the race. I know @wotherspoont is too decent to go after Meili’s former drug dealer status, but I wish someone would bring it up. @cbcsask ? @johngormleyshow ? Voters should make an informed decision about their next Premier. https://t.co/vNA7pZMQrc
This is a powerful article. Though my wife did eventually end our marriage, being in an open marriage for as long as I was did wonders for helping me understand how to be a male feminist. https://t.co/PdzK46Mama
@LeishaCBC very excited to hear about the bike lanes on Idylwyld. On my weekends with my son Miles, we love to cycle, and it’ll be great to have a main artery to get around on.
@CBCSaskatoon I so appreciated hearing @jenkew rebut that baker’s criticisms to Justin Trudeau’s summer jobs program form this morning. This is why I listen to @CBC . He can dissent to pro choice views if he wants but I appreciate Canadian values being upheld by radio journalists
Such a horse shit article. Melania is a complicit as anyone in this White House. As is the media for its feverish, uncritical early coverage of candidate Trump. https://t.co/iH38fDgZ4Q
The notion that the first lady is stealthily striking back against the world’s foremost misogynist dovetails nicely with #MeToo: https://t.co/F4FrMtEeQy
@CBCSask I really wish The Rush would officially sever ties with Mr. Oolms. His antics—and his increasingly exorbitant demands—embarrass the franchise. Plus they have a great mascot already, who isn’t in it for personal glory and media attention.
I’ll be listening! Wish they’d gone with a better title though. RT @karinyeske: CBC Saskatchewan launches original podcast 'Boushie'. Episode 1 available now
