"It’s a really positive step in the right direction for the future of racing." – @tayla_childs 🙌

Last week, in partnership with @VicInstSport, our jockeys came together for a mentoring workshop.

"We were able to share knowledge and experience and have discussions about how to handle certain situations riders face day to day, and how to help manage those issues in the best way possible."

Final day of the @RacingVictoria Stable Start program. Had a lot of fun and got so much out of it - If anyone has even the slightest interest in working in racing it is very worthwhile!

"I just wanted to work with horses."

Strapper Ryan Golledge has had a whirlwind first six months with @FreedmanRacing 👌

[Danielle Smith @evotbreds]

@OKThenOlivia @FreedmanRacing Loved this! He was a star at Stable Start and it’s so good to see him going so well 🙌

An AMAZING morning spent at @YulongInvest with the year 11 Equine Students. Such an incredible insight into the breeding world getting to see everything from vet works to foals, to stallions and even a live cover! What an amazing setup!

@epsom80 RV are offering the Stable Start program to people who have had little experience with horses. It’s a free program for anyone.
They have also just rolled out the Cert II stablehand and Cert III trackrider to try to help bolster the workforce. Also free for people to access!

Earlier this month at Sandown, we held a school tour for VCE Equine Studies students.

Across the course of the day, they met with Stewards, Veterinarians, Race-caller Matt Hill & more, learning all about the operations that contribute to the smooth & safe running of a raceday.

@DamienRactliffe @theagesport How about instead of going into schools they support people like @cmaherracing with their school holiday program. That looked like a great success, well done to them.
Also work in a school and to my knowledge have never had RV ask to come for an incursion 🤷‍♀️

[Danielle Smith @evotbreds]

@RedgumRacing is looking for a new foreperson. Great stable to work for in a fun team environment. Super opportunity for someone to progress in the industry 🐴🐎
