Love EV's and renewables. Hooked on the Nissan Leaf. Hope to put up solar charging for it soon. Want an EV? Call +264 81 3055 372. It's a blast owning one!
@ReeferMadness@stekkerauto Can you please explain what type of container you would like to store this H² in? And the escaping H² that is said to be 12x more harmful to the atmosphere than CO² ?
@stevenmarkryan Japan's auto industry might collapse if they don't get rid of Akio Toyoda fast. It seems he has bet his whole extended family's life on oil. Or he is being paid by someone. I cannot grasp how a seemingly intelligent person could ignore the signs that almost all OEMs have seen.
@mvosnakidis@stevenmarkryan Very interesting that the number one organ in our bodies that's affected by fear are the lungs. Generally folks who suffer from Asthma and such have underlying problems with fear that they may not even be aware of. No wonder some people that died from this weren't even sickly.
@mazibukomotors This is brilliant thinking! Well done guys! It will help with all the whining about loadshedding.
EVs are the solution to loadshedding, provided they are charged when there is an excess of renewables on the grid. If charged from solar it's a win for all. (Except Big Oil)
@jasonfenske13@wholemars BMW knows what the consumer wants, and they don't want the latest tech! ;)
They want cars that have a money transfusion line from their wallets to the dealerships :]
They all want inefficient, clumsy e-repurposed gas cars :)
This year they'll have to go all-out or go under.
@SawyerMerritt Yup, typical MSM, just cannot put Tesla in a fair light.
Wonder how many articles they wrote about the spontaneous combustion of the Chev EVs?
The Porsches, the Mercedes and VW recalls for mechanical defects that couldn't be fixed OTA?
@InsideEVs Too little too late, unless they can make their software and cars compelling, before the end of this year. Unlikely, but possible if they buy out the shareholders that are putting the brakes on EVs.
@alex_avoigt That is the problem with most critics of FSD, they don't understand that it should never be a product that you buy, but rather a subscription where the product continuously improves.
Most software, nowadays, is outdated by the time you have downloaded and installed it.
@wholemars@elonmusk@savsays @Mario_Esq2 Hey, do the math and see how much extra data it is, going above that level, and for what?
Most people watch video at 1.5 or 2x speed on their handheld devices, so better quality is only needed for those who spend their time behind huge screens watching in detail. IMO
@elonmusk@stevenmarkryan They have cheated in the past, but their engineers were better back then. eg. when their engineers designed a hose clamp to divert airflow around a throttling device that was mandatory for race vehicles.
1995 WRX
@TIME@elonmusk SA had some of the best technicians working on Pebble Bed Nuclear rectors at the time of independence. Unfortunately that didn't put money into politicians pockets, so the project was scrapped and the engineers left for greener pastures. Many advantages over traditional NPP's.
@WR4NYGov Most people who do even limited research, know that he's into sensation and clicks. Unfortunately for him Twitter is no longer a platform where that kind of hit and miss, sensationalist journalism works.
Here you get called out and put in your place.
@engineers_feed Wow, that is really interesting. Keep it coming!
We're so oblivious to Engineering marvels that surround us.
We have a saying: the guys with the thick glasses and the white coats made it so.
